As you progress in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you will want to give Link armor to increase his defense. To do that, you will have to get the Archaic Tunic, as it is easy to find. After the completion of the shrine at the east, you will see a large tree stump. Now go toward the tree stump and use your ascend ability through the piece of the bark hanging off the cliff. After that, head into the tree stump, and you will find a chest. Open the chest, and inside, you will find the Archaic Warm Tunic. Equip them, and you are free to explore the southern part of the Great Sky Island.

The answer is no. As you move into the colder climes, the Archaic Warm Tunic set won’t be enough to protect Link from the cold. The next opportunity to obtain more warm clothing will be at Rito Village in the Hedra Region.
