Bone Spear Necromancer is a reliable endgame build as it provides the perfect balance of offensive and defensive abilities, allowing you to dominate your opponents on the battlefield. The build helps you to deal with high critical hits while regaining your essence at the same time.

The endgame unlocks more legendary items and powers that make the build overpowered. The build focuses on Core Bone Skill that deals physical damage by firing penetrating projectiles through the monsters.

The damage output from Bone Skill is massive as it provides High Critical Damage with constant Vulnerability. The passive skills also help in Resource Generation and collection of Essence. The build also has slight alternative variants that can be adapted according to personal preference.

Basic Skills 

The Diablo 4 Bone Spear is an S-Tier Build. This build mainly focuses on the Bone Spear and Corpse Explosion skills and requires 48 Points from leveling along with 10 points through Renown Challenges, totaling 58 Skill Points. The basic skills deal little damage but are always available to cast.

Initiate's Bone Splinter	If you hit the same opponent 3 times with the same skill of Bone Splinters, it will give an 8% chance of Critical Strike for the next 4 seconds.

Core Skills

The Core Skills require more Resources and cast considerably powerful attacks. It mainly dictates your playstyle. For the build, I mostly recommend the following options:

Paranormal Bone Spear	Conjures a bone spear from the arena pierces through the enemies and deals 85% damage. The skills have an Essence Cost of 25 and a Lucky Hit Chance of 50%.
Unliving Energy	Increases your maximum Essence by 3.
Imperfectly Balanced	Your Core Skills utilize 3% more Essence but enhance damage by 5%.
Hewed Flesh	The chance of spawning a corpse near the target’s location increases by 4%. The chance gets doubles against bosses.

Corpse And Curse Skills

The Corpse Skills control the battle and manipulate the deceased. The skill mainly focuses on the spawning of dead army, while the Curse skill casts debilitating effects on the targets.

I’ve outlined the most appropriate Corpse and Curse skills for the Build to choose from as follows:

Corpse Explosion	Detonates a corpse that deals damage to the targets within the premises. The skill has a Lucky Hit Chance of 40%.
Enhanced Corpse Explosion	The corpse explosion radius increases by 15%.
Plagued Corpse Explosion	The explosion deals 8% enhanced damage to Stunned, Vulnerable, or Slowed enemies.
Blood Mist	Diffuse into a bloody mist and becomes immune for the next 3 seconds. Your Movement Speed gets reduced by 20% and you periodically deal 1.75% damage to the opponents while healing for 0.5% of your maximum life. The skill has a cooldown duration of 24 seconds and a Lucky Hit Chance of 8.73%.
Skeletal Warrior Mastery	Increases the damage and span of the Skeletal Warriors by 15%.
Grim Harvest	Consuming a Corpse gives 2 Essence.
Fueled by Death	After consuming a Corpse, deals 3% enhanced damage for the next six seconds.
Death’s Embrace (Curse Skill)	Nearby targets take 2% more damage from you and cast 3% reduced damage.

Macabre Skills

Like the Curse Skills, Macabre also takes authority over corpses and manipulates the dead. Here are the best Macabre Skills, in my opinion, that Complement the Bone Spear build:

Necrotic Carapace	When a Corpse is made from your Minions or Skills, Fortify for 2% Base Life.
Corpse Tendrils	Corpse pulls out veins, strangling the enemies and stunning them for the next three seconds while dealing 20% damage. It has a cooldown duration of 11 seconds and Lucky Hit Chance of 20%. The Skill does not consume a Corpse.
Enhanced Corpse Tendrils	Enemies in the premises of Corpse Tendrils are slowed down by 50% before getting pulled.
Plagued Corpse Tendrils	Targets damaged by Corpse Tendrils get Vulnerable for the next three seconds.

Ultimate Skills

Selecting the Ultimate Skill is crucial as it shifts the tide of battle and devastates your enemies. Investing in the right skill according to your playstyle enhances your battle performance as the skills vary quite heavily from each other.

Additionally, here’s a list of all the Ultimate skills that you can choose from to enhance your performance in battle:

Prime Bone Storm	The Damage Reduction is enhanced by 15% while the Bone Storm is active.
Supreme Bone Storm	The Critical Strike Chance gets enhanced by 20% while the Bone Storm is active.
Stand Alone	Increases the Damage Reduction by 6%, reduced by 2% for each active Minion.

Key Passive

The Key Passives drive vital synergies through unique interactions. The following key passive complement the Bone Spear build.

Aspects Of Bone Spear Build

The most crucial Aspects of this building are the Splintering Aspect and the Aspect of Disobedience. Once you get those, you can get the other as additional progress in performance.

Protecting Aspect	When low on health, a protective shield summons around you for 3-5 seconds. The player gets immune during the period guarded by a bubble. Has a cooldown duration of 90 seconds.
The aspect of Grasping Veins	When you cast Corpse Tendrils, you get a 10-20% chance of increased Critical Strike for six seconds. You also deal 30-60% more Critical Strike Damage to opponents inflicted by Corpse Tendrils.
Wind Striker Aspect	You get 8-16%, increased movement speed for 1-6 seconds for every successful Critical Strike.
Accelerating Aspect	Critical Strikes with Core Skills enhances your strike speed by 15-25% for the next three seconds.
The aspect of Exposed Flesh	Increases chance by 10% of granting you bonus Essence on Lucky Hits with the Bone Skills against Vulnerable enemies.
The aspect of the Umbral	Restores some of your Primary Resources when you Crowd Control the opponent.
