Lords of the Fallen features a giant arsenal of weapons and spells, so fans can select the best ones based on their preferences. Spells in-game are of three types, and Radiance is one of them, which excels at doing Holy Damage. As there are many Radiance Spells in Lords of the Fallen, it is kind of hard to select the best one.
- Radiance Spells deals with Holy Damage and requires a Radiance Catalyst to be cast.
- There are around 20 Radiance Spells In Lords of the Fallen, and they’re extremely strong against Fire-based enemies in the mid-game phase, but they also have high Radiance requirements.
- The 8 best Radiance spells are ranked in accordance with their worth and my experience in Lords of the Fallen.
- Blessed Reflection is the best Radiance Spell in-game due to its high damage.
- The only disadvantage of Blessed Reflection would be that it requires 30 Radiance, but I don’t consider it one as, to me, the requirements seem reasonable.
Best Radiance Spell In Lords of the Fallen Compared
Here is the overview of the best Radiance Spells that are available in-game:
RADIANCE SPELL | MANA COST | REQUIRED RADIANCE | Best For |
---|---|---|---|
Aura of Tenacity | 12 | 8 | The Best Defense Spell In Early Game |
Cleansing Spring | 72 | 8 | The Best Spell For Survival |
Radiant Flare | 16 | 8 | The Best Offensive Radiance Spell In Early Game |
Piercing Light | 29 | 8 | The Best Offensive Radiance Spell In Mid Game |
Healing Radiance | 29 | 8 | The Best Healing Spell In Early Game |
Radiant Slash | 60 | 30 | The Best Radiance Spell In Mid Game |
Radiant Weapon | 60 | 18 | The Best Radiance Spell To Increase Overall DPS |
Blessed Reflection | 99 | 30 | The Best Overall Radiance Spell In Lords of the Fallen |
8- Aura of Tenacity
Mana Cost | Required Radiance | Type |
12 | 8 | Radiance Spell |
Now, I don’t really like spells, especially those that make you stand in one place. According to me, Aura of Tenacity is one of the worst spells in Lords of the Fallen. I really didn’t like it, as I was just testing the spells out of curiosity.
However, It can be pretty useful in some instances, as you might have faced a moment where the enemy or boss is just 1 hit away from defeat, and so are you. That is why I have given it the Best Defense Spell Award in Early Game.
- Decreases the damage that you receive.
- It is just a defensive spell.
7- Cleansing Spring
Mana Cost | Required Radiance | Type |
72 | 8 | Radiance Spell |
The door that doesn’t budge in the early area of Lords of the Fallen features a snowy place where Cleansing Spring comes in real handy. I have lost count of how many times Frostbite status was inflicted on me when I was exploring the area. It is a later game area, so I would recommend you not to go there too soon.
When I was exploring the area, I didn’t even know Cleansing Spring existed, as it would have made the run way better. That is why I consider it the best spell of survival.
- Removes all the status effects and any type of buildup.
- Requires only 8 Radiance to cast.
- Costs 72 Mana.
6- Radiant Flare
Mana Cost | Required Radiance | Type |
16 | 8 | Radiance Spell |
If you use Radiant Flare in the early game areas, then you will definitely like it. I have recently tried to spell in the late-game areas, and it wasn’t that effective. The enemies in late-game areas have so much more health, so it takes a long time to defeat them using Radiant Flare.
I consider it the best offensive radiance spell in the early game due to fewer requirements. Also, it deals good damage to starting enemies.
- Doesn’t require much mana cost to cast.
- Requires only 8 Radiance.
- The damage is low.
5- Piercing Light
Mana Cost | Required Radiance | Type |
29 | 8 | Radiance Spell |
Radiant Flare gets boring with time, so you can shift to Piercing Light. It is basically the upgraded version of the Radiant Flare. Piercing Light deals more damage, and casting it has a really cool effect. Upon casting, you will see some words in rotatory motion. You can find it in the Fitzroy’s Gorge.
Also, I have given it the best offensive radiance spell in the mid-game award as it deals more damage than Radiant Flare.
- Deals more damage than Radiant Flare.
- It also requires only 8 Radiance to cast.
- The mana cost is a bit high.
If you are having trouble finding the spell, you can check out the YouTube Video on how to find it.
4- Healing Radiance
Mana Cost | Required Radiance | Type |
96 | 8 | Radiance Spell |
If you are cornered by an enemy or a boss and out of heels in Lords of the Fallen, then Healing Radiance can save you. Being concerned by enemies can be pretty common in-game, as even normal enemies are powerful. So, Healing Radiance can come in handy many times during your playthrough, making it the best healing spell in the early game.
- It can be purchased pretty early.
- It restores a good amount of health.
- Requires an opening in the battle to cast.
3- Radiant Slash
Mana Cost | Required Radiance | Type |
60 | 30 | Radiance Spell |
A spell that deals great damage and looks really cool is always welcomed by many. Radiant Slash is exactly what the previous line is about. It is arguably one of the best Radiance Spells in Lords of the Fallen, as it deals great damage.
I have given it the best mid-game Radiance spell award due to its massive damage, and it staggers the opponent.
- Deals massive damage.
- Looks really cool upon cast.
- Staggers the opponent.
- Requires 30 Radiance.
2- Radiant Weapon
Mana Cost | Required Radiance | Type |
60 | 18 | Radiance Spell |
With Radiant Weapon, you can imbue your weapon with radiance and deal holy damage to the enemies. I really like such spells that imbue your weapon into different elements so you can deal different types of damage. Most of the time, I coat my weapons that don’t deal with Holy damage so I could do more damage to the bosses that are not resistant to Holy.
I have also ranked similar spells like Poison Weapon and Umbral Weapon pretty high in my Best Umbral Spells Guide. Also, I have given it the best spell to increase the DPS reward as it coats the weapon with Radiance, hence increasing the damage.
- Apply Radiance to the weapons that don’t deal Holy damage.
- It requires just 18 Radiance.
- Increases the DPS.
- I don’t think there are any cons to the spell.
1- Blessed Reflection
Mana Cost | Required Radiance | Type |
99 | 30 | Radiance Spell |
You might remember the spell that Pieta used to make the boss fight difficult. Blessed Reflection is the same spell you can get by offering Pieta’s Remembrance to Molhu. Peita gives you the best Radiance Weapon and the best Radiance Spell, which is insane, given that she is the first boss.
- Deals a massive amount of damage.
- Really helpful in boss battles.
- Requires 30 Radiance, which seems reasonable.
- The Mana Cost is 99, but I think it is worth it due to the high damage.
Some Other Radiance Spells To Go For
When picking a Radiance Spell in Lords of the Fallen, there are additional good choices beyond my top 8 list. These might better suit your gameplay style, based on what you like:
- Orius’ Judgement: Despite its powerful damage and versatility against enemies, its mana cost is relatively high, making it expensive to cast.
- Invigorating Aura: An excellent support spell that continuously heals the player and nearby allies as long as there is sufficient mana.
- Lucent Beam: While using it, movement becomes significantly restricted compared to the other spells I’ve picked above.
- Vortex of Torment: Although it benefits in weakening enemies against holy and physical damage, it is not the quickest spell to cast, requiring players to be mindful of their positioning and timing.
- Divine Arms: It is a solid spell with impressive damage, but it has a limited area of effect (AoE) than the other spells I’ve mentioned previously.
My Thoughts On The Best Radiance Spell
I have spent many hours in Lords of the Fallen, and I don’t think any other Radiance spell is better than the Blessed Reflection.
The spell deals great damage and can be obtained by offering Pieta’s remembrance to Molhu. Radiant Weapon is also a great spell that imbues your weapon with the Radiance element.
That is almost everything you want to know about the Best Radiance Spells in Lords of the Fallen. With my experience, I give the best spell throne to Blessed Reflection, but your opinion may differ from mine, which is alright. If you don’t like Blessed Reflection, you can try out the Radaint Weapon and Radiant Slash, which are among my favorites.
