Story Highlights
- Dragon’s Dogma 2 is finally out, but its launch phase isn’t going as smoothly as Capcom would’ve wanted.
- The game is marred by technical and performance issues, which have left players unsatisfied with the title.
- Capcom has issued a new post, detailing that multiple fixes are heading to Dragon’s Dogma 2 shortly.
Although Dragon’s Dogma 2 has become Capcom’s biggest single-player game launch to date, you can’t mask the fact the much-anticipated JRPG suffers from a series of different issues at this moment in time, including technical and performance-related, which has left players unsatiated with the title. The developer in a new post, however, has now detailed how it plans on improving the experience for users out there.
To all Dragon’s Dogma 2 players! We’re planning to release patches including the following updates and fixes in the near future, and will release them as soon as they are ready for distribution on each platform. Thank you for your patience and support!” says Capcom.
Players took over the r/DragonsDogma subreddit to complain about not being able to start a new game by overwriting the current one, but evidently, adding this feature is at the top of Capcom’s list right now. Other quality-of-life changes, such as being able to toggle the Motion Blur feature in Dragon’s Dogma 2 seem to be making their way to the JRPG soon enough as well.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 Is Only Getting Started
A poor launch that seems as if the development team was forced to meet deadlines is what the general consensus has arrived at for Dragon’s Dogma 2, but underneath all that resides a game drowning in innovation and RPG masterclass—Capcom hasn’t just polished the experience yet. I’ve given it a go and saying that I’m having just fun would be a massive understatement.
