In my opinion, the stronger the Faith points of an adventurer, the stronger their incantations will be.

Making my way down, Dexterity is also considered a secondary attribute players should have in their inventory. Dexterity allows for wielding overpowered Armaments and controls the damage launched at opponents from that weapon. Dexterity also allows players to tank more hits by being more stable and reduces the time it takes to cast spells.

Vigor

Lastly, Vigor is also a crucial attribute to invest in, as it entails taking care of and deciding the player’s overall HP. The higher the investment into Vigor, the better the HP bar will be, and adventurers can stay in the arena for longer and take down enemies. I experienced that vigor also boosts adventurers’ Fire Resistance and Immunity Resistance.

Sword Of Night And Flame Stats

The Sword of Night and Flame is the main star of this Elden Ring Sword of Night and Flame Build. Its central stance is a straight sword, so it is an excellent source of damage that can insta-kill enemies when combined with perfect spells and incantations. 

It scales off of Strength, Intelligence, Faith, and Dexterity, with most points going into Intelligence and Faith (24 respectively). It can deal massive amounts of AoE fire damage with its starting normal attack and then combo-ing it with heavy attacks to cast down the flames upon opponents.

Golden Order Seal

I recommend using the Golden Order Seal, which assists players by boosting their basic incantations and allowing for more substantial damage output. 

It scales with Faith and Intelligence, allowing adventures to cast more potent spells and incantations to help them gain victory when fighting against tough bosses. Golden Order Seal can quickly boost incantations based on Intelligence and Faith. Based on my gameplay experience, With the Seal scaling with Faith D and Intelligence D, players must have at least 17 Faith Points and 17 Intelligence Points in their arsenal to pair this weapon with the Sword of Night and Flame.

Best Armor Set To Use

For this Sword of Night and Flame Build, I highly feel two major armor sets could benefit the players, both while dealing with lighter enemies and the hardest of bosses. 

Royal Remains Set

The Royal Remains Set is a four-piece armor set geared towards players who want to get as much physical damage protection and Robustness Resistance as possible. The main aim of the armor sets entails replenishing HP as the HP bar goes down while on the battlefield. It consists of Armor, Gauntlets, Greaves, and Helms.

Black Knife Set

The black knife set is the second most crucial armor set I suggest. With its main passive being to increase the player’s stealth when paired with the Sword of Night and Flame build, it complements the sword perfectly. It comes with its Helm, Gauntlets, Greaves, and Chest armor. 

Best Talismans

Moving along, players can equip a few of the best talismans to get the most out of this Ring Sword of Night and Flame Build In Elden Ring. I have mentioned them below: 

Radagon’s Soreseal

The Radagon’s Soreseal is an extraordinary talisman that allows players to benefit significantly. It consistently increases the stats of players’ attributes, explicitly focusing on enhancing Dexterity, Vigor, Strength, and Endurance, all of which are crucial for the build. Personal defense is also increased, allowing players to become more powerful and get a higher damage output. 

The main side effect of the talisman is that it will slightly increase the damage players take. 

Carian Filigreed Crest

The main talisman that players should equip is the Carian Filigreed Crest, which allows the players to enhance the number of spells that they can cast, as the main aim of this talisman is to lower the overall FP that it takes to cast skills or sorceries. The overall skill cost is decreased by 25%, significantly benefiting adventurers in their battle. 

Carian Knight’s Shield

One of the essential things to own apart from the armor sets in the Elden Ring Sword of Night and Flame Build is the Carian Knight’s Shield, which comes equipped with a solid 100 Physical Guard, the perfect match for the armor sets. I was surprised to know that the shield itself is considered a medium-weight shield, and it scales with Intelligence, Strength, and Dexterity, which allows for more potent attacks.

Incantations To Equip

Following through, for the Elden Ring Sword of Night and Flame Build, I have a select few incantations that can come in incredibly handy, mainly focusing on two. Incantations support the player with healing, damage-increasing, self-curing bonuses that can last for a while. 

Flame, Grant Me Strength!

Starting with Flame, Grant Me Strength!​​ This incantation is a highly overpowered incantation that can help the adventurer achieve victory quickly. With its main passive being to enhance players’ Physical and Fire attacks and enhance them by 20% or more, it can allow players to come across their opponents, look them in the eye, and then burn them to death with the enhancement of Fire Damage AoE. 

The incantation itself requires 1 Memory Slot, and it needs 15 Faith Points. Flame, Grant Me Strength lasts for a total of 30 seconds, during which the adventurer can take advantage of the timing and obliterate their opponent and come out victorious.

Flame Of Frenzy

Secondly, the Flame of Frenzy aims to help the player defeat the most troublesome enemies by casting down flames of fire that have been fully enhanced with Fire Damage. It will consistently deplete the enemy’s HP and eventually kill them, making the adventurer win. 

The “Madness” status is significantly enhanced on the enemies, requiring players to invest 16 Faith Points into the magic. It requires one Memory Slot and uses up to 30 Stamina. The casting speed is fast, allowing adventurers to cast the magic repeatedly to defeat their enemies. 

Build Playstyle 

Wrapping it up, let’s check out the build playstyle. Weidling, the Sword of Night and Flame in one hand, pair it with the Golden Order seal to cast and launch down high Fire Damage with insane AoE on your opponents and slash your way through their existence and obliterate them with ease. 

With the talismans, Radagon’s Soreseal, and Carian Crest, players can increase their overall damage output while also casting a deadly spell with the reduced FP cost of the spells with their passivity. Pair it with the Flame Grant Me Strength incantation to see a boost of 20% in fire damage, which will do wonders with the sword.
