Genshin Impact: BEST Pre-Release Chevreuse Build

I played for 2000+ hours and here are my recommendations for the best artifacts and weapons for Chevreuse!

Genshin Impact has recently come out with Chevreuse as a four-star character after Navia, and she is a great addition to the pre-existing teams for Fontaine. Players might want to know what the Best Chevreuse Build is In Genshin Impact, alongside her best artifact sets and her best weapons and characters!

Important: Chevreuse is not a Pyro DPS therefore she works best as a supporting unit during battle.
Key Takeaways
  • Chevreuse is a Four-star Pyro user who happens to be a Bow user and is an excellent support.
  • The main advantage of using her in your team is that she can be one of the best Pyro supports when paired with the correct supports in the Fontaine teams.
  • Her disadvantage is that there aren’t many Genshin Impact characters that can work with her during battle.
  • Players must significantly plan and invest in the best artifacts for your characters and weapons for Chevreuse to shine during combat.

Genshin Impact Best Chevreuse Build Summary

Below listed is a summarized version of the best artifacts and weapons for Chevreuse in my opinion:

Best Artifacts

Chevreuse is a four-star unit that is Pyro, and can wield a gun in her skills, making her extremely useful in the Chevreuse build in Genshin.

The best artifacts that I plan to use with her are listed below as follows in my experience:

Best Artifacts  Stats
Noblesse Oblige
  • 2 piece: Elemental Damage from Burst is increased by 20%.
  • 4 piece: Using an Elemental Burst enhances the party’s attack by 20%.
Crimson Witch
  • 2 piece: Pyro damage bonus is increased by 15%.
  • 4 piece: Overloaded and Burning damage output is enhanced by 15%.
Vermillion Hereafter
  • 2 piece: Attack is increased by 18%.
  • 4 piece: After an Elemental Burst is cast, the character gets the Nascent Light effect, which increases their attack by 8% for 16 seconds.

Best Weapons

Moving on, Chevreuse Genshin Build uses a Polearm; therefore, attack-enhancing main stats, and Energy Recharge, are the stats that I plan to aim for while using her.

The best weapons for her in her Genshin Best Build Chevreuse are listed below as per my experience:

Best Weapons  Effects
Jade Spear  The crit rate is increased by 4.8%.
Favonius Lance Energy Recharge is enhanced by 6.7%.
The Catch  Energy Recharge is enhanced by 10%.
Rightful Reward  HP is increased by 27.6%

Best Chevreuse Team Comps

Below are a few team comps in my opinion for Chevreuse Best Genshin Build that work well in Abyss and Overworld.

1) Chevreuse/Lyney

The Best AoE Pyro Team.

One of the first Genshin Best Chevreuse Build and teams include characters such as Lyney, Miko, and Zhongli as they work together well to take advantage of the Overloaded reaction and render enemies useless.

The roles of each of the characters are listed below as follows after trying them out without Chevreuse:

  • Chevreuse: Pyro Support
  • Lyney: Pyro Main DPS + Damage Dealer
  • Yae Miko: Support + Electro Sub-DPS
  • Zhongli: Shielder
  • Why I Chose This Team: Lyney’s high Pyro team damage paired with Chevreuse can devastate enemies.

The pros and cons for the Lyney team are listed below according to my opinion:

  • Yae Miko’s totems can deal great Elector damage.
  • Zhongli’s shield is broken.
  •  There is no hard pity on getting Chevreuse.

Lyney

Lyney in the Chevreuse Genshin Build is a five-star Pyro Bow character that fits in perfectly well with Chevreuse. His main aim while being in the team is simply to act as a Main DPS, being able to unleash Pyro damage using his Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst and murder enemies.

The Crimson Witch of Flames set is a perfect artifact set for him as far as I know:

  • Flower: Flat HP
  • Feather: Flat ATK
  • Sands: ATK%
  • Goblet: Pyro Damage Bonus%
  • Circlet: Crit Rate/Crit Damage%

Zhongli

Zhongli

Alongside that, Zhongli is a five-star Geo team Polearm character who is the best Shielding character in Genshin Impact. He ensures that everyone stays shielded and protected from incoming enemy attacks when he is in the team.

The best set for him is the 4 piece Tenacity of the Milellith with the Black Tassel:

  • Flower: Flat HP
  • Feather: Flat ATK
  • Sands: HP%
  • Goblet: HP%
  • Circlet: HP%

Yae Miko

Yae Miko
Yae Miko (Image By Me)

Last but not least, Yae Miko is a five-star Electro character who can provide great Electro damage to enemies.

She acts as a sub-DPS and uses her Totems that auto-target random enemies and unleash hell on them.

She can use 2 Thundering Fury and 2 Emblme with the Kagura’s Verity as her weapon of choice in the Chevreuse Genshin Build:

  • Flower: Flat HP
  • Feather: Flat ATK
  • Sands: ATK%
  • Goblet: Electro Damage Bonus%
  • Circlet: Crit Rate/Crit Damage%

2) Yoimiya Overloaded

The Best Overloaded Enhanced Team.

Moving on, another excellent team comp that I feel you don’t want to miss out on while making the perfect Genshin Chevreuse Build features Yoimiya, Raiden as well as Bennett. They take advantage of the Overloaded reaction and boost it further with Bennett in my experience.

The roles of each character are mentioned as follows in my opinion:

  • Yoimiya: Main DPS + Pyro Applicator
  • Chevreuse: Support
  • Raiden: Sub-DPS +Electro Damage Dealer
  • Bennett: Healer + Attack Buffer
  • Why I Chose This Team: Yoimiya can deal excellent Single-target damage to enemies, which is increased by Bennett.

The pros and cons for the team are mentioned as follows:

  • Yoimiya is a broken Single-target Pyro damage dealer.
  • Bennett can increase the damage output.
  •  Yoimiya is not present on the Standard banner.

Yoimiya

Kicking things off with the Best Chevreuse Build, Yoimiya is a five-star Bow character who can unleash insane single-target damage on enemies.

In this team, she acts as the main DPS, being able to charge her normal attacks using her Elemental Skill and can damage opponents.

The 4 piece Crimson Witch of Flames with the Thundering Pulse is a good combo for her:

  • Flower: Flat HP
  • Feather: Flat ATK
  • Sands: ATK%
  • Goblet: Pyro Damage Bonus%
  • Circlet: Crit Rate/Crit Damage%

Raiden

Raiden

Apart from this, Raiden is a five-star Electro polearm user who is notorious for having one of the highest damage outputs in Genshin Impact.

She uses the 4 piece Emblem of Severed Fate set combined with the Engulfing Lightning weapon as per my experience:

  • Flower: Flat HP
  • Feather: Flat ATK
  • Sands: ATK%
  • Goblet: Electro Damage Bonus%
  • Circlet: Crit Rate/Crit Damage%

Bennett

Bennett

Lastly, Bennett is a four-star Pyro character who ties the entire Genshin Impact Chevreuse team together. He is mainly used as a Pyro applicator when he uses his Elemental Burst, and he can also heal fellow teammates.

He uses the 4 piece Noblesse Oblige with the Aquila Favonia as his weapon of choice:

  • Flower: Flat HP
  • Feather: Flat ATK
  • Sands: HP%
  • Goblet: HP%
  • Circlet: HP%

3) Semi Mono-Pyro

The Best Semi-Mono Pyro Combo.

Last but not least, another great option for the Chevreuse build in Genshin Impact features characters such as Yanfei, Raiden, and Zhongli. The Overloaded reaction continues to reign, combined with a free-to-play character in Genshin DPS option with Yanfei.

The roles of the characters are mentioned below as follows:

  • Chevreuse: Fire Support
  • Raiden: Sub-DPS + Electro Damage Dealer
  • Yanfei: Main DPS
  • Zhongli: Shielder
  • Why I Chose This Team: Yanfei and Raiden can come together to release the Overloaded reaction on opponents.

The pros and cons for the team for the Genshin Chevresue build, in my opinion, are listed below as per my opinion as far as I know:

  •  Raiden is not present on the Standard banner.

Yanfei

Moving on, Yanfei is the perfect four-star f2p DPS that everyone can access, and she can unleash high AoE Pyro damage.

She uses the 4 piece Crimson Witch of Flames set with the Lost Prayers weapon:

  • Flower: Flat HP
  • Feather: Flat ATK
  • Sands: ATK%
  • Goblet: Pyro Damage Bonus%
  • Circlet: Crit Rate/Crit Damage%

Raiden

As far as Raiden is concerned, she is a five-star Electro Polearm, and can unleash high Electro damage using her Elemental Burst.

The 4 piece Emblem of Severed Fate and Engulfing Lightning should be enough to keep her going:

  • Flower: Flat HP
  • Feather: Flat ATK
  • Sands: ATK%
  • Goblet: Electro Damage Bonus%
  • Circlet: Crit Rate/Crit Damage%
