Tracer is a returning character; if you haven’t played her in a long while, I advise that you read our Overwatch 2 Tracer guide. Thankfully all the returning characters, like Tracer, Genji, Cassidy, Widowmaker, Winston, Doomfist, Lucio, and Reinhardt, have gotten the buffs and nerfs they deserved.
There is a lot of creative freedom here too. You can use some of the best Overwatch 2 characters to create teams that are comprised of some of the best DPS heroes, the best tanks, the best supports, and pretty much anything that suits your playstyle.
- Tracer is a damage hero. She supports her team by getting killed or dealing massive damage to the opposition.
- She wields two pulse pistols with a high-speed fire rate, and they reload quickly as well.
- Due to her enormous popularity, she has received a lot of skins.
- Some of these skins are modestly priced, while others are very expensive, so you should only unlock the best.
- Author’s Note: I have more than 25 hours of experience in the latest season of Overwatch 2, which makes my views and thoughts on the title trustworthy.

Ultraviolet
We are starting strong with the Ultraviolet skin. It feels like a mix of the punk aesthetic with a bit of Tracer’s sci-fi one on top. It is a very appealing skin and stands out due to its distinct features. If you like the punk aesthetic, then you will surely love this.
Moreover, as you can see in the image above, Ultraviolet skin is of legendary rarity. Most legendary skins are expensive no matter what game you are playing, and Ultraviolet is no exception. It is available for purchase for 1000 Overwatch credits.
Royal Blue
Next up, I have what is among some of the best recolor outfits in Overwatch 2. The Royal Blue skin for Tracer is great, and it suits her aesthetic and personality very well. The upper part of the skin is very reminiscent of Alyx from the Half-Life franchise.
As shown in the image above, Royal Blue is rare skin. When rare skins are this good, it is always good news since they are literally the cheapest skins you can get. The Royal Blue skin is available for only 75 Overwatch credits.
Cavalry
Now I’m going to take a look at the Cavalry skin for Tracer. It mixes up old war aesthetics with Tracer’s signature style. In my opinion, it works really well and gives another completely unique skin. The skin is of a legendary rarity, so that it will cost you either 1000 or 3000 Overwatch credits.
Nezha
The Nezha outfit for Tracer is another legendary skin. It is inspired by traditional Asian culture and surprisingly suits Tracer a lot even though she is British. The outfit’s gauntlets have been designed around supernational creatures from Asian folklore.
Nezha costs a lot, like all the legendary skins, but it looks very lovely on Tracer. If you would like to acquire the skin, it will cost you either 1000 or 3000 Overwatch credits.
Slipstream
Next, I present you the Slipstream outfit for Tracer. It feels like something out of an 80s action movie, and those outfits always suit almost every character. It is a legendary skin, as shown in the image above, and you can buy it for 1000 Overwatch credits when it is available for purchase in the shop.
Jingle
The Jingle outfit for Tracer is great and goes really well with her jolly personality. As you can tell by looking at the picture, it is a Christmas-themed skin and a perfect one at that. Tracer has one of the very best Christmas skins in the game.
It is a legendary skin that is to be expected from a skin that looks vastly different from the default design. It will cost you 1000 Overwatch credits, and it is usually available for purchase during Christmas, which is to be expected.
Rose
The rose outfit is among the very best Overwatch 2 Tracer skins. It is a very well-designed outfit that gives a modern sci-fi-esque take on the Victorian-steampunk look. Look at the image I have provided and see if the outfit is for you.
Moreover, the Rose skin is an epic rarity and will cost you 250 Overwatch credits. It is an excellent recolor, and I highly recommend you get it if you only want to buy one modestly-priced skin. The skin is among my favorite Tracer skins.
Cadet Oxton
Next, I have the Cadet Oxton skin, which looks more like a sci-fi air hostess than a rookie, in my opinion. The skin has great attention to detail, and overall, it does look very appealing. All the colors are vibrant, and it looks extra cool on night maps.
It is a legendary skin, and if you want to acquire it, you will need to spend 1000 Overwatch credits. Keep in mind that it comes and goes, so be on the lookout and buy it as soon as it arrives.
Hong Gildong
Up next, I have the Hong Gildong outfit for Tracer. It is another Asian-themed skin for the character, and she looks great in the thing once again. In my opinion, the previous one was better, but this one is undoubtedly great itself. It is a costly skin, as it goes for 3000 Overwatch credits in the shop.
T Racer
Now, I’m going to take a look at the T. Racer skin. Yes, I’m sure that the pun was intended there. It puts Tracer in a racer outfit, which looks really appealing. The skin is designed with her abilities in mind, and they have done an excellent job as far as I’m concerned.
It is a legendary skin that will cost you 1000 Overwatch credits. I highly recommend it as it is vastly different from everything else in the guide. It goes well with her ability and playstyle, too, since she literally is a speedster.
Will O Wisp
Now, I present to you the Will-O’-Wisp outfit for Tracer. It is by far one of my favorite Tracer outfits, and I highly recommend you consider getting it. It is honestly the perfect Halloween-themed outfit, and how it complements Tracer’s character is priceless.
We love legendary game franchises like Resident Evil and Silent Hill, so it is always a pleasure to see visually appealing horror-themed skins. Look at the skin in my image and decide if it is for you. It will cost you either 1000 or 3000 Overwatch credits.
Tagged
Visually, Tagged looks like the most appealing punk outfit that one can possibly make. It complements Tracer’s personality really well too. Just like most of the skins on my list, the only bad thing is the expensive price tag.
As you can see in the image above, it is a legendary skin, so it will cost you 1000 or 3000 Overwatch credits when it is available for purchase. I personally believe it is worth the price as it is stellar skin. If you want to get just one skin for Tracer, I recommend Tagged or the Will-O’-Wisp.
My Personal Favorite Tracer Skin
All of Tracer’s skins are mentioned in this guide, but it is now time to talk about my favorite Tracer skins. For me, I prefer using the Ultraviolet skin the most because it adds a rocky and metal band touch to Tracer. My second most preferred skin is Rose due to its simple rose design with the steampunk touch.
The next preference in the list is the Will O Wisp. I like it due to the Halloween Theme touch added to the skin. At last, I would add the Nezha outfit to the list of my personal best Tracer skins due to Traditional Asian Culture touch.
And with that, my Overwatch 2 Tracer skins guide comes to a conclusion. Tracer has some of the most outfits out of all the heroes in Overwatch 2. I have done my best to list the most appealing ones that most gamers will find interesting. I hope you had a fun time picking out the skin that suits you.
