There are many different attributes that make a weapon one of the best-curved swords. These attributes may be the best bleed or frost affinities for the curved swords in Elden Ring or the fact that you can get them pretty early on.

The Eclipsed Shotel has a cool design with its black flame-like edges and a matte black finish. The Shotel was primarily designed to be used in the PVP arenas and matches.

• In PVP, it has a Death Plight buildup for instant kills.
• It’s one of the game’s 9 Legendary Armaments.
• It features an Anti-block system for 40% shield-penetrating damage.
• Its skill, Death Flare, obliterates opponents in two hits.
• Bringing the Eclipse Shotel can make opponents anxious in PVP.

• Elite abilities are primarily available in PVP battles.
• Obtaining the sword’s requirements can be challenging in Elden Ring’s early stages.

8. Nox Flowing Blade

Okay, so by the looks of it, you can see that this could be named the Curviest of Curved sword in the game. It is unique due to the fact of its versatility. This blade is kind of like curvy whip-like animations that make it a good option to use against a horde of small bosses—an extremely fun weapon to use, especially in PVP matches.

• Exceptionally long reach, second only to a few Curved Swords.
• Inflicts high damage with slashing attacks.
• An elite Dexterity somber weapon, ideal for creating a powerful Dexterity build.
• Features an Anti-Block damage system, allowing 40% of attacks to bypass defenses.
• Offers solid base damage for a Curved Sword.

Cons

• The signature whip attack is a bit underwhelming due to time consumption. 
• The whip animations are extremely long and do less damage compared to other skills.
• You are stuck in one place during the entire animation causing you to be vulnerable.

1. In the map of Caelid, head to the Sellia, The Sorcery Town, and there you will have a battle.
2. The battle is between you and the dynamic duo Nox Swordstress and Nox Priest.
3. Try to divide them and fight individually to win. 

7. Mantis Blade

An expert in short-range melee combat, you have the Mantis Blade. This weapon is literally the shortest blade of all Curved Swords but has the ability to become the longest as well. The Mantis Blade is design-wise pretty cool and has two blades on each side. Taking care of the large mini-bosses won’t be a problem.

• Mantis Blade can be infused with Ashes Of War and upgraded using Smithing Stones.

• Despite its advantages, it is the shortest Curved Sword.
• Has a very low drop rate, making it challenging to obtain compared to other Curved Swords.

1. In the Gelmir Hero’s Grave area, you drop down and ride a Chariot in a mission.

• Light attacks are not as flashy and fun to use as heavy attacks.
• Due to the boring and plain light attack, you will end up spamming R2 or Heavy Attacks.
• No such unique moveset, just a rip-off of the Falchions in Elden Ring.

1. Getting the Flowing Curved Sword can actually be fun.
2. It is inside a Protected Carriage in the Consecrated Snow Field area of the Caelid Map.
3. It is protected by the Night Cavalries at night, duh. These Night cavalries are mini-bosses that ain’t hard to defeat. 

5. Beastman’s Curved Sword

The Developers have really outdone themselves with the design of the Beastman’s Curved Sword. You can see the wilderness vibe of it. Made up of a dull iron, this weapon is amazingly balanced and can perform those zinger buzz attacks you so want your curved weapon too. The main aspect of the weapon is the Strength that comes along with it.

• The heavy attack of the Beastman’s Curved Sword delivers a multi-slash attack, dealing 600 damage.
• Recent patches have improved the sword’s mobility.
• You can perform dodge attacks by rolling back and pressing R1.
• Dual-wielding and applying buffs can make the Beastman’s Curved Sword a lethal weapon.
• Adding Bleed Affinity is highly recommended for this sword.
• It excels as the primary weapon in bleed or strength-based builds.
• Jump attacks deliver significant damage.

Cons

• Frost and flame damage don’t complement this sword well; bleed is the preferred choice.
• The attacks have a slow and awkward transition, which can be a drawback in PVP fights.
• The low drop rate can result in hours of grinding.

• Provides 2.5% health increase and 25+ flat health per kill.
• Effective even when kept in the off-hand.
• Can be dual-wielded with Blasphemous Blade for stacked health effects.
• Talismans like Taker’s Cameo also stack, ensuring health in battles.
• Low Statistic requirements.
• Can be further improved with blood Ashes of War.

Cons

• Power-stancing not possible for double effects.
• Weapon mainly used for its effects, not combat.
• Makes boss fights significantly easier.

Location

1. Reach the Ruin-Strewn Precipice Location on the map.
2. Once you reach there, head down the level via an elevator.
3. Start moving forward, and you will end up meeting a Land Octopus once you climb up the ladder.
4. The Sword will be behind the Octopus.

3. Magma Blade

The Magma blade is an extremely well-designed and useful curved sword. It is extremely powerful when it comes to its fire damage and can surprise you with how much damage it can deal when you test it out yourself. This weapon deserves its spot in the Top 3 Curved Swords of the game.

• Scales well with Strength and Faith.
• Magma Shower skill combines offense and defense.
• Prioritizing Faith boosts its potential.
• Great for NG+ with its three statistics.

• Getting two is extremely challenging.
• Low drop rate
• Somewhat heavy, affecting speed.
• Average reach.

Location

1. It can only be farmed from the Volcano Manor by the man-serpent beings that wield this weapon.
2. There are very few of them, and they are hard to kill as well, so good luck. 

2. Wing Of Astel

Wing Of Astel would be your second pick for the best-curved swords because of how incredibly powerful it is. Some might look at it as physical base damage and judge it from that. But the amazing magic damage it does it phenomenal and definitely makes it worth wielding.

• Attacks are difficult to roll dodge due to magical properties.
• Grants 20% extra damage against Gravity Type foes.

So people have argued over whether the Scavenger Curved Sword is still one of the best bleed-build curved swords in Elden Ring. Due to the recent nerfs to the curved sword, people have started to not use It, but it has come back.

• Insane blood buildup.
• Powerstancing with one frost and one fire for NG+ effectiveness.
• Incredible speed.

Cons

• Recent nerf affected the bleed of the best-curved sword.
• NG+ for two Scavenger Blades.

Location

1. You have to go to the North of Mount Gelmir.
2. Across the stone bridge, you will find a laying corpse beside the ladder and a Grafted Scion.
3. It will have the Scavenger’s Curved Sword. 

My Take On The Best Curved Swords

I have primarily played Elden Ring using the Curved Swords, and over time, I have been able to determine the best swords comparatively. These 10 curved swords are really unique and powerful in their own way, but my personal favorites are the Scavenger’s Curved Sword and Magma Blade. The Scavenger’s Blade has the best blood buildup even after the nerf it got, and the Magma Blade is just wonderful to use, especially with that Blades of Chaos aesthetic and Magma Shower skill.
