How To Start Blood And Sweat

Embarking on the “Blood and Sweat” quest in Diablo 4 involves several key steps that you must follow. Here is an in-depth guide to get you started:

1. First, make sure you are currently in Act 3 of the campaign. The quest location, Dry Steppes, is only accessible during Act 3.
2. Before starting the quest, you must conquer the Ruins of Qara Yisu Stronghold/Dungeon.
   • The stronghold can be challenging, as it requires you to destroy Infernal Spires and overcome a mini-boss.
   • Be aware that the minimum recommended level for tackling the stronghold is 45, which is almost halfway to max level 100.
   • However, even at that level, the enemies you encounter will be two levels higher than your character.
   • So, if your character level is 50, expect to face enemies at level 52.
3. Upon successfully reclaiming the stronghold, journey over to the southern part of the village. Amidst the carnage, you’ll find a corpse with a bloodstained letter near it.
4. The “Blood and Sweat” quest is accepted when you interact with the bloodstained letter. The letter reveals a poignant message:
   • “My Bright Ray, I received your letter from Alzuuda and the gold you sent. I wish you would give up your mercenary life and come home. Having you here is a greater blessing than gold. I have kept Little Tuya safe…”

Finding Little Tuya

Following your acceptance of the quest and your heartfelt reading of the bloodstained letter, your next task is the search for Little Tuya. The game guides you towards a Crude Doll, marked on your map, which is actually the Little Tuya you are looking for.

1. You need to make your way to a Disturbed Stone in the northern reaches of the ruins of Qara-Yisu.
2. Upon your arrival, interact with the Disturbed Stone to reveal the Crude Doll, also known as Little Tuya.

In your journey, there’s a small blue circle on the Qara-Yisu map in the Dry Steppes that signifies the area where you should search.

• In between the structures within the blue circle, there’s only one roof you can ascend. Climb it, and you’ll find several stones.
• Turn the stone located on the right, and the Little Tuya doll, your quest item with aqua-colored text, will emerge.

Completion And Rewards

Once you’ve found the “Crude Doll,” all you need to do is return it to NPC Tuya, which will complete the side quest.

1. Travel to the city of Alzuuda, where you’ll find Tuya. You’ll likely have the waypoint unlocked; if not, make sure to grab it as well.
2. Tuya can be found in the northern part of the city. You can perhaps use a mount to get there faster.
3. Give her the doll to complete the side quest.

After completing the quest, you will be given some useful rewards:

• 20 Dry Steppes Renown
• Gold & XP in accordance with your Character’s level
