Marvel Snap offers a ton of different cards, like Elektra, with amazing abilities and skills. If you are starting out as a beginner, it is important to know some of the best decks and strategies for starting cards like Elektra in Marvel Snap. The Elektra card is one of the most versatile cards, and she can be paired with almost all Pool One starting cards, including Iron Man. But that is not all, and she can also do great in the decks with Pool 2 or Pool 3 cards like Thor.

Who Is Elektra

Before you see the decks for Elektra, let’s look more into Elektra herself. Elektra Natchios, who goes by Daredevil now, is one of the most popular characters in Marvel.

She appeared in various comics of Daredevil and was the potential love interest of Matt Murdock.

Elektra Snap Card

The Elektra card will come with four variants and will cost you one energy for one power. Most players will think that getting one power at the cost of one energy is a bad deal. However, her strength lies not in the power that she gives to the location she is used in but in her special ability.

Elektra, an On Reveal card, triggers her ability when flipped at your location. Timing is crucial with Elektra, as with other on-reveal cards. Pairing Elektra with Odin can tip the odds in your favor. Odin, a six-cost card, activates all your reveal cards’ abilities, providing a strong advantage from the outset.

Consider White Tiger when using Elektra. White Tiger, also an On Reveal card, grants a 7-power Tiger at its location. For a viable debuff, I recommend that you combine Elektra with Spider-Woman, which reduces enemy cards‘ power by one. This combo can be a game-changer.

1. Advantage Revealed Deck

The Advantage Revealed Deck is a pretty popular deck for Elektra, and it has the following cards:

  •  Odin
  •  Hawkeye
  •  Elektra
  •  Quicksilver
  •  Medusa
  •  Ant-Man
  •  Jessica Jones
  •  Wolfsbane
  •  Ironheart
  •  Sentinel
  •  Star-Lord

Elektra’s Advantage Revealed Deck is beginner-friendly in Marvel Snap. As you progress, you can collect alternative cards easily. Most are On Reveal cards. These cards offer buffs and unique abilities, further boosted by Odin as your end-game card. Odin reactivates other On Reveal card abilities.

Pairing Odin with Elektra lets you reuse her abilities. The deck includes White Tiger, Iron Heart, and Wolfsbane with potent abilities for winning with Elektra. Ant-Man complements the deck when placed with Hawkeye, Starlord, and Elektra. The Sentinel card boosts power initially.

Quicksilver and Jessica Jones can be used solo or with Medusa in the middle location, where her on-reveal ability is most effective.

The next popular deck among players that includes Elektra is the Sun And Moon Deck created by Hydro Flare. This particular deck is generally considered the best one out there because it includes some of the most powerful cards that share a great synergy. Furthermore, cards like Cable, Mantis, and some other collector cards can potentially line up in your end game and help you defeat the opponent in the ending terms even if the odds are not in your favor.

3. Carnage Base Deck

With Carnage as a base card, you will use the following cards in that deck:

  •  Elektra
  •  Hulk
  •  Abomination
  •  Wolfsbane
  •  The Punisher
  •  Kazar
  •  Sinister
  •  Nova
  • Cable
  • Carnage
  • Iron Fist
  • Yondu

Features Of The Deck

The last deck in line for Elektra is the carnage-based deck. While the base of the deck will be carnage, you will use 12 of his allies to overpower the opponent.

Carnage is a very powerful card but so are his allies and they are capable of dealing damage on the same level as him. These offensive cards can destroy the opponent in no time if used correctly. Additionally, prioritizing Destroyed cards over Discarded ones is crucial due to their specific abilities.

Using Carnage results in clearing the entire card location and granting him a +2 power boost for each card destroyed. This not only frees up space for additional cards but also increases your power substantially in that location. Sacrificing here contributes to your success in the later stages of the game. Furthermore, the Hulk card relies heavily on power, so maximizing power in specific locations increases your chances of winning the match.

4. The Self Destruction Aggro Deck By Hydro Flare

The deck will include the following cards.

  • Elektra
  •  Nova
  •  Blade
  •  Ant-Man
  • Night Crawler
  • Deathlok
  •  Wolfsbane
  •  Scarlet Witch
  •  Strong Guy
  •  Kazar
  •  Mr. Fantastic
  •  Angel

Another deck with Elektra as the base card, This deck uses the abilities of Deathlok to destroy Nova. By using the Deathlok card, you will be able to provide buffs to all the cards present in the play. The reason why the deck is called the Self Destruction Aggro is that it tends to boost the starting stats of the particular location it’s being used at.

If your location is under threat, employ Scarlet Witch to randomize a more favorable one. You can also use Scarlet Witch if the enemy seizes your Nova card or if your location hinders your strategy. Strong Guy, a good low-cost card, adds +6 power when your hand is empty. Wolfsbane, with strong synergy with Elektra, boosts power by +2 based on location card count.

Ant-Man assists in ending turns, offering +3 power when three cards are present at his location, resulting in a total of +4 power.

5. The Middle Range Aggro Deck

Following are the cards that you will be utilizing in the mid-range aggro deck:

  •  Medusa
  •  Angela
  •  Nightcrawler
  •  Elektra
  •  Rocket Raccoon
  •  America Chavez
  •  Iron Man
  •  The Punisher
  •  Kazar
  •  Mr. Fantastic
  •  Sentinel
  •  Ant-Man

Features Of The Deck

The Mid Range Aggro Deck centers around Ant-Man, with Elektra as a key card. Rather than starting with low-cost cards, this deck focuses on maximizing high-cost cards for an early advantage.

One of the starting cards is Ant-Man, costing just one energy. Its ability grants a +4 power boost when played at locations with over three cards. This strategy aims to defeat your opponent before Turn 6 by building substantial power early.

Cards like America Chavez and Iron Man are crucial for mid-to-end game strength. Iron Man’s ability in Marvel Snap doubles location power, justifying his high cost. This advantage can quickly turn the tide if you’re falling behind. Mr. Fantastic and Medusa provide additional power support if needed.

6. Buffed Up Swarm Deck

The next deck in the line features some of the most powerful support cards. Following are the cards that you will be using in their deck:

  •  Blue Marvel
  •  Angela
  •  Ant-Man
  •  Squirrel Girl
  •  Rocket Raccoon
  •  Kazar
  •  Elektra
  •  Night Crawler
  •  Onslaught
  •  The Punisher
  •  Quicksilver
  •  Hawkeye

Features Of The Deck

If you prefer using multiple power cards in your strategy, this deck is ideal. The Swarm deck enables you to employ a variety of cards with unique buffs and abilities to maximize your location’s power.

You won’t need to rely solely on a high-power card to succeed; the strategy centers on low-cost cards with potent in-game abilities. These cards include Squirrel Girl, Nightcrawler, and Ant-Man. Additionally, support cards will enhance the efficiency of your initial cards.

Beyond Turn 3, you’ll utilize cards like Onslaught, Blue Marvel, and Kazar to strengthen your earlier cards and secure victory. This deck can also be used for bluffing, leveraging its unpredictability to make your opponent think you lack power early on.

7. The Stun And Control Deck

One of the most powerful cards that use Elektra, the stun and control deck, includes the following cards.

  •  Angela
  •  The Hood
  •  Carnage
  •  Elektra
  •  Mysterio
  •  Debrii
  •  Storm
  •  Enchantress
  •  Killmonger
  •  Blue Marvel
  •  Doctor Doom
  •  Spiderman

The Stun And Control Deck is another deck that uses multiple cards to build up a strategy.

It focuses on using cards with unique buffs to influence the game board. The Enchantress card can eliminate ongoing abilities on her location, while the storm card introduces a timer and floods the location. Additionally, swarm cards like Doctor Doom and Debrii help you accumulate power and counter your opponents.

If Doctor Doom is your favorite, the deck strategically combines his synergy with Elektra to provide a powerful early-game advantage. The floodgate cards also enable you to counter your opponent’s moves and block actions like debuffing you.

8. One Cost Onslaught Kazoo Deck

Following are the cards that you will be using in the deck.

  •  Ant-Man
  •  Elektra
  •  Korg
  •  Nightcrawler
  •  Rocket Raccoon
  •  Squirrel Girl
  •  Angela
  •  Onslaught
  •  America Chavez
  •  Blue Marvel
  •  Kazar
  •  Captain America

Features Of The Deck

For new players, I recommend the Kazoo deck with early-game cards. It helps you utilize limited cards effectively, and its basic cards allow for bluffing.

Early on, your deck has few powerful abilities, but from turns 3 and 4, you gain an edge. Elektra is vital; target the opposing Ant-Man. She can execute one-cost cards in their deck. Use Elektra strategically. The Kazar card is crucial, boosting all one-cost cards. With most of your deck being one-cost, this strategy can lead to a quick victory.

My Personal Take On Elektra

If you ask me, I think Elektra herself, although a good beginner card in Marvel Snap, becomes fairly underpowered and unreliable at high-rank matches. Her ability is so straightforward and minimal that you can’t raise its effectiveness or use it to boost other cards in your deck. Not only that, she’s overshadowed by Killmonger, who has a similar ability but can be utilized in many different ways.

My in-game hours on Marvel Snap (Steam ID: WaterJuice)

Most high-rank players barely use 1-Cost cards, so Elektra’s ability isn’t even applicable most of the time. I’ve played Marvel Snap for 100+ hours, and whenever I reached Rank 40 or above during a season, I never met a player using Elektra. If all you want is to destroy opponent cards, there are a lot better alternatives. As such, you can use a solid Elektra deck for casual play, but I wouldn’t recommend using her for competitive matches.

After reading my guide, you will be able to make some of the best decks using Elektra in Marvel Snap. Make sure to try out all the decks mentioned above and see what suits your playstyle the most. These decks can help you all the way up to Pool 3 where you will be facing enemies of higher level and better cards.
