Iron Man’s Card

Before we get into the deck possibilities, let’s take a second to discuss how Iron Man’s card operates. Iron Man is considered one of the starter cards that can fit into several different deck combinations.
It is not only easy to obtain, but it is also incredibly f2p friendly. Therefore, it has countless possibilities that you can go for. Iron Man will have several different variants of his card, which will simply change up the artwork that is showcased whenever he is upgraded.
Apart from that, he will be a 5-energy cost card and provide 0 actual power to the player on his own. However, his ability will be an Ongoing ability, allowing players to have their overall power doubled at the location where the card is placed.
Underrated Non-Meta Deck

Character | Cost | Power |
Ant-Man | 1 | 1 |
Psylocke | 2 | 1 |
Mystique | 3 | 0 |
Mister Fantastic | 3 | 2 |
Captain America | 3 | 3 |
Wave | 3 | 3 |
Onslaught | 6 | 6 |
Sera | 5 | 4 |
Klaw | 5 | 4 |
Blue Marvel | 5 | 3 |
Iron Man | 5 | 0 |
Omega Red | 4 | 5 |
Now, the first deck we would like to mention will have quite the power, and while it is not considered meta-centered, the deck still performs exceptionally well. The card selection will be as follows, with their abilities listed, and it can help you with your progression really well!
- Antman: With an ongoing ability, if you have a total of 3 cards placed at the location, power will be increased by 3.
- Psylocke: with an Onreveal ability, on your next turn, players will be able to gain a total of +1 energy.
- Mystique: On reveal ability allows players to gain an ongoing ability on this card if their last one had it.
- Mister Fantastic: With ongoing abilities, the adjacent locations will increase their power by 2.
- Captain America: He has an ongoing ability that allows your other cards present at this location to gain 1 power,
- Wave: On the next turn, the cards in both your and your opponent’s hands will cost 4 energy.
- Onslaught: If any other ongoing abilities are activated here, they will be doubled here.
- Sera: Cards that are present in your hand will cost one energy less.
- Klaw: The location that is present to the right will gain a total of +6 power.
- Blue Marvel: The other cards that you have will gain +1 power.
- Iron Man: An ongoing ability that allows your power to be doubled at this location.
- Omega Red: If you’re ahead of your opponent by 10 power, your other locations will gain +4 power.
Playthrough
When it comes to the cost and power breakdown, it is estimated to be averaging at 3.8, while the power distribution will be centered at 2.8.
The deck itself is strong, with charisma and Onslaught being the show’s stars since they will allow all kinds of ongoing abilities to get an x8 multiplier in that location. If Mr. Fantasic is brought in, the adjacent locations will continue to get 16 power, and then Omega Red and Antman will come in to cause destruction.
A location with these four cars will continue to gain power and provide power to other locations.
The best way to play the deck would be to start with Iron Man since you will get an instant boost to your location’s power. On turn 3, you can bring in Wave, while turn 4 can benefit from onslaught’s appearance.
Mystique and Antman can make an appearance on your fight turn, while you can go for anyone such as Mr Fantastic or even Klaw at your sixth and final turn.
Another option that you can play is with Sera if you want to use her, and you can do this by placing in Sera’s appearance on your fourth turn. You can then go for Psylocke on your third turn, while Onslaught can be brought in on your fifth turn. Turn 6 can be a free for all option.
You would be better off with locations that would provide you energy buffs, such as Superflow or even Elysium works well. Sinister London is known to be the most broken location to spawn at, so you can pray and hope that you get the location.
Different Card Options
If there are some cards that you don’t have access to or haven’t unlocked by now, then there are some replacements that you can go for:
- Magik: Magik is known to be one of the best replacements for Psylocke here; it is already pretty overpowered.
- Mojo: Mojo can be helpful if you want to pair it up with Onslaught and use it on the same location; however, Mojo will outshine once you save it from placing down several cards on your sixth and final turn.
