Palworld: How To Get Legendary Pump Action Shotgun

Learn how to get the Legendary Pump Action Shotgun in Palworld to get significant jump in damage and destroy bosses easily.

Palworld journey starts with the ancient and old weapons at level 1 and near level 40 or above, everything turns into industrial grade equipment. This is not only true for all the materials you craft but also the weapons you equip and kill bosses in the game. The same is case for melee weapons and ranged weapons like legendary handguns, bows, and shotguns. You need to know how and where to get the legendary pump action shotgun in Palworld. Otherwise, the common gun is very underwhelming compared to the legendary one.

Key Takeaways

To get the Legendary Pump Action Shotgun schematic:

  1. Defeat Suzaku Ruler of Crimson Dawn boss found in desert biome near Duneshelter fast travel point.
  2. Focus on ranged attacks and use water-type Pals for optimal damage.
  3. Employ ice grenades to stun the boss.
  4. Capturing Suzaku gives no schematics, so defeat the boss to obtain the legendary pump action shotgun schematic.
  5. Repeat the battle if you do not get the schematic.
  6. It should take 5 to 10 attempts for the schematic to drop.
  7. Craft the shotgun using Carbon Fiber, Polymer, and Refined Ingot.
  • Why Trust Us: With more than 30 hours dedicated to playing Palworld, Irfan has extensively explored the game—finding loot in dungeons, reaching all fast travel points, and killing bosses that drop rare loot. This firsthand experience positions him as a reliable and knowledgeable source for both newcomers and seasoned Palworld players.

Where To Get Legendary Pump Action Shotgun

To get the legendary Pump Action Shotgun in Palworld, you need to farm the schematic by killing Suzaku Ruler of Crimson Dawn boss.

Suzaku is a level 45 boss that must only be fought if you are of level 42 to 36. If you are below level 40, then your chances of defeating the boss are little to none.

Suzaku Ruler of Crimson Dawn Location

To find Suzaku Ruler of Crimson Dawn boss, you need to explore the desert biome and head south from the Duneshelter fast travel point. I have attached an image of the boss’s location above just in case you can not seem to find Suzaku.

Just as getting the legendary assault rifle in Palworld requires killing a certain boss, the legendary Pump action shotgun too demands a similar strategy.

NOTE: The Desert Biome is hot by nature and therefore you need to equip a heat resistant armor. Otherwise, your overall health will start to deplete due to the hot climate of this region.

How To Beat Suzaku Ruler of Crimson Dawn

Just like Blazamut boss in Palworld, Suzaku Ruler of Crimson Dawn is also another fire type pal. This means that having ground or flying best water type pals will work wonders in dealing damage against this boss.

  • Best Water Pals: Go for top-tier water-type Pals like Jormuntide, Penking, Celaray, Surfent, and Fuack for significant damage.
  • Use Ranged Attacks: While your water pal deals damage using his skills, you need to equip ranged weapons such as an AR, handgun, or even a one-shot rifle. A legendary assault rifle during this boss fight will do wonders.
  • NO Melee weapons: Suzaku is a flying boss so any melee weapon, regardless of how powerful, will be useless in this encounter.
  • Ice Grenades: Throwables such as ice grenades will freeze and stun lock the boss if aim the throw properly. This should give you enough window to deal damage while the boss is immobilized.
Kill The Boss, Not CaptureThe primary objective is not to capture this boss; instead, focus on defeating it to obtain the legendary pump action shotgun schematic in Palworld. Capturing the boss will only yield regular resource materials without any schematic drops of any rarity.

Since you need to farm the legendary schematic for Pump Action Shotgun in Palworld by killing Suzaku Ruler of Crimson Dawn, you will get the following drops in each successful attempt:

Grind Again: In case you don’t obtain the legendary Pump Action Shotgun schematic upon looting Suzaku’s remains, it’s essential to return and farm the boss repeatedly. Repeat this process as many times as necessary until the schematic finally drops. It took me 7 attempts for the legendary Pump Action Shotgun schematic to become available.

NOTE: To redo the boss battle, wait for one in-game day. The boss will appear in the same location the next day.

Important: Ensure to run and circle around the boss’s dead body to avoid missing any dropped loot. Remember, the legendary Pump Action Shotgun schematic doesn’t automatically appear in your inventory, so it’s crucial not to overlook this step.
