Having some of the best flying mounts in Palworld is an excellent way not just to explore the vast map in the game but also to defeat some of the challenging bosses. Shadowbeak is an excellent end-game flying mount in Palworld that requires capturing first so that you can this black beauty to fly across Palpagos Island. How To Find Shadowbeak

I found level 41 Shadowbeak in the No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary.

This is a small island northeast of the Deep Sand Dunes fast-travel point, situated at the furthest northeastern point of the Palworld map. It is hard to miss, especially when you stand at the fast travel point I mentioned. I had a flying mount so I took it and went over the island but you can also use a swimming Pal like the Surfent to reach the island. Upon arrival, you’ll easily spot Shadowbeaks, typically at levels 40 to 43.

Another easy method to get Shadowkeep is to breed two pals and get the egg.

Tip To Get Shadowkeep Egg: Pair a Kitsun and Astegon in a Breeding Farm with a Cake for a Huge Dark Egg. Kitsun appears at night in the snow area near the Free Pal Alliance Tower (level 28, coordinates 168, 45), while Astegon’s Alpha Version is in the Volcano at level 48 (coordinates –614, -428) or rarely in the north Wildlife Sanctuary (coordinates 664, 632).

Faster Egg Incubation Tip: To hatch faster, maintain the right Incubator temperature, and adjust world settings for quicker incubation. Setting it to zero makes the egg hatch instantly, and your level one Shadowbeak will be in the Palbox after the interaction.

How To Capture Shadowbeak

Shadowbeak will attack as soon as it spots you. The best course of action will be to use ranged weapons and use the pals to catch its attention while you do the damage from far away.

  • Prepare for the Catch: Weaken Shadowbeak by using a Pal strong against its Dark element, like Dragon-type pals. Consider leveling up your Palworld character to at least level 45 before attempting to catch Shadowbeak.
  • Level and Weapon Tips: Aim to be a few levels higher than Shadowbeak for an easier capture. While a strong Pal can be helpful, damaging the bird with the best weapons in Palworld is viable.
  • Capture Strategy: Use Ultra Pal Spheres or Legendary Pal Spheres for the capture. If available, opt for a Legendary Sphere; otherwise, an Ultra Sphere should suffice if your Capture Power is boosted enough.
Important: Quivern, Elphidran, Orserk, and Jetragon dragon pals can help greatly in defeating Shadowbeak, as all four are the best dragon type pals in Palworld.
