The Gunslinger is one of the most powerful archetypes that specialize in firearms and the best weapons, high damage, and ammo conservation. The Gunslinger archetype was available as a pre-order bonus; however, now players can get Gunslinger even if they have not preordered Remnant 2 by talking to an NPC.
- Unlock the Gunslinger archetype by preordering or visiting NPC Mudtooth in Ward 13.
- To unlock, talk to Mudtooth and listen to all his stories in Remnant 2.
- After completing the Second World, receive the Worn Cylinder as a gift from Mudtooth.
- Take the Worn Cylinder to Wallace in Ward 13 along with Lumenite crystals and 1000 scrap to transform it into an iron cylinder.
- Use the iron cylinder to unlock the Gunslinger archetype.
- Interacting with Mudtooth also rewards the Gunslinger ring and Gunslinger charm.
How To Unlock Gunslinger Archetype?
The Gunslinger archetype can be unlocked by two methods that I have listed below:
- The Gunslinger comes as a bonus for players who have pre-ordered Remnant 2.
- However, even if you have not preordered the Gunslinger archetype, you will be able to unlock it by progressing through the main story and interacting with a certain NPC.
Finding Mudtooth
As soon as you have access to Ward 13, you will have to look for an NPC called Mudtooth.
- You will need to interact with Mudtooth if you want to unlock the Gunslinger archetype.
- Next, you must listen to his stories until he has none left.
- While it might seem a very simple task, it can be quite time-consuming.
- However, you won’t have to listen to all of his stories at once as you can listen to his stories one by one and keep exploring the worlds in between.
Listening To Stories
- Other gift items that you will receive are the Gunslingers charm and the Gunslingers ring.
Crafting The Iron Cylinder
- 10 Lumenite crystals
- 1000 scrap
Once you have all these items, visit Wallace in Ward 13 to craft the Iron Cylinder.
Unlocking The Archetype
After getting the iron cylinder, you can use the engram to play as Gunslinger. It is definitely worth the effort, as the Gunslinger archetype is considered one of the most powerful ones.
