Remnant 2: How To Get The Lighthouse Keeper’s Ring?

Learn about the location and abillities of the Lighthouse Keeper's Ring, one of the newest rings in the Awakened King DLC of Remnant 2.

The Lighthouse Keeper’s Ring is a rare item players can get in the Derelict Lighthouse dungeon of Remnant 2. The dungeon is connected to and accessible via the Drowned Wen area in Remnant 2’s latest DLC, The Awakened King. The Keeper’s ring is one of the 26 rings in the DLC, and even out of most of these, it stands out as being versatile and highly favorable in certain situations and builds.

Before You Start: Getting the Lighthouse Keeper’s Ring requires the Lighthouse Key, but using the key to get the ring will bar you from getting the Sparkfire Shotgun.
Key Takeaways
  • The Lighthouse Keeper’s Ring is a ring in Remnant 2’s Awakened King DLC that generates Mod Power for every nearby entity suffering from Negative Status Effects.
  • To get the ring, players must reach the Derelict Lighthouse and then head west towards the dungeon’s checkpoint.
  • Here, they must fight the Gorecarver and Thunderpiercer minibosses to receive the Lighthouse Key, which can be used at the Lighthouse balcony door to pick up the Lighthouse Keeper’s Ring.
  • Alternatively, players can use the Lighthouse Key on the Lighthouse’s basement door to get the Sparkfire Shotgun in Remnant 2.

How To Get The Lighthouse Keeper’s Ring

Players can find the Lighthouse Keeper’s Ring on the balcony of the Lighthouse, which they can access using the Lighthouse Key obtained after killing the Gorecarver and Thunderpiercer minibosses.

To start your journey to getting this ring, you must first reach the Derelict Lighthouse dungeon. As mentioned earlier, you can get to this dungeon via the Drowned Wen. Once you’re at the Wen, head to the pig-infested graveyard, then climb down the ladder on the rightmost corner to reach the sewers, and you’ll find the gate that leads to the Derelict Lighthouse.

Here are the steps to obtain the Lighthouse Keeper’s Ring at the Derelict Lighthouse:

  1. From the dungeon’s World Stone, follow the narrow streets and continue the trail west to the Lighthouse via your first Checkpoint.
  2. After taking the checkpoint, head left and towards the edge of the map, and here, you’ll fight the Gorecarver and Thunderpiercer minibosses.
  3. Killing both bosses will give you the Lighthouse Key, after which you must head for the bridge that leads to the Lighthouse.
  4. Inside the Lighthouse, head up to the balcony and use the Lighthouse Key to open the locked door.
  5. On your left, you should see a room with the Lighthouse Keeper’s Ring lying on a desk.

If you want to unlock the Sparkfire Shotgun, you’ll have to use the Lighthouse Key on the basement door instead. You can check out eXputer’s video guide for a more detailed and hands-on explanation.

Important: Here’s a YouTube video you can watch to learn the Gorecarver and Thunderpiercer’s movesets if you’re struggling against them. However, in my experience, they’re extremely exploitable – lure them out into the open and tackle them one by one.

Lighthouse Keeper’s Ring Abilities

The Lighthouse Keeper’s Ring generates Mod Power per second for each entity, including yourself, suffering from a Negative Status Effect. With an ability like that, this ring works exceptionally well with the Ritualist Archetype, whose skills, perks, and traits focus exclusively on Negative Status Effects.

That wraps up my brief guide on finding the Lighthouse Keeper’s Ring in Remnant 2. As highlighted earlier, you can only use the Lighthouse Key once. So, if you want to get the Keeper’s Ring and the Shotgun without rerolling the DLC, I’d suggest asking a friend to drop their Lighthouse key for me. In my experience, I used my key to get the Lighthouse Keeper’s Ring, but fortunately, a friend from my Discord dropped me his key, with which I got the Sparkfire Shotgun.
