Weapon ModDeath Sentence

If you are someone who loves the relentless barrage of furious attacks, Feral Judgment is the way to go. These claws are designed for up-close combat, and its Weapon Mod “Death Sentence” further incentivizes you to do that as well. Dealing with 6x melee damage over 10 seconds awakens Fearl Judgment and empowers it.

When empowered, you inflict a “Death Sentence” on your enemies using a Neutral Backdash attack. After 15 seconds, they’ll suffer from 10 phantom strikes, each dealing 25 damage. The damage is further increased by 25% if the enemy is suffering from a “bleed” effect.

Weapon ModFission Strike

This giant futuristic otherworldly weapon is said to be capable of tearing apart gigantic rocks and even causing nuclear reactions, thanks to its Weapon Mod. Upon neutral evasion, Atom Splitter releases a giant wave of charged particles due to a Nuclear fission reaction that deals 150 damage and extends to a range of 20m.

Charging Atom Splitter before unleashing Fission Strike increases range and damage by 3x and 25%, respectively. Coupled with impressive 100 base damage and an early game unlock, makes Atom Splitter one of the Remnant 2 strongest melee weapons.

My Experience Using Melee Weapons

In my experience, I’ve mostly used melee weapons against humanoid/Dran enemies in areas like Losomn. They work great against close-range enemies who usually charge at you, which I often used to my advantage and started staggering them whenever I could. I got the Dreamcatcher weapon on my initial playthrough and used it for some time until I picked up the Atom Splitter.

My hours on Remnant 2 (Steam ID: Random_Spectator)

The Splitter’s massive damage bonuses forced me to switch, and honestly, while it wasn’t as fun as the Dreamcatcher, it was the first time I used a melee weapon as much as my secondary weapon. Still, I only use melee weapons when I’m either extremely low on bullets or when I’m certain the enemy will die in a single hit. Besides that, though, I usually rely on my guns during combat.
