Cyberpunk 2077’s Director Says The Game Still Has Secrets Waiting To Be Found

It's possible that those secrets may have been found, but nobody had shared them.

Story Highlights

  • Cyberpunk 2077 is CD Projekt’s Red success story and a testament to the undying resolve of the developer.
  • The game came out about 4 years ago but is still yet to be explored to the full, confirms its director.
  • Pawel Sasko also says, however, that it’s possible somebody might have done it but failed to share.

Cyberpunk 2077 is CD Projekt Red’s take on a dystopian world overrun with all the sins one could find out there, sporting an open-world format with tip-top visuals, engaging gameplay, and quest design. It’s surprising to know that despite heaps of enthusiastic and passionate gamers out there, the title’s director Pawel Sasko confirms that Cyberpunk 2077 still hasn’t had all of its secrets explored and unlocked.

I’ve seen one of the last articles [with all the Easter eggs] and it had a long list, but it didn’t have everything. There’s a couple more things that are not found yet. We don’t know that they were found [though] because someone could have found them in their home and never shared them with anyone, and we just never saw it,” says Sasko at GDC 2024 (via IGN).

From secret endings and references to other franchises to an abundance of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners easter eggs, this game is sure full of surprises, that’s a no-brainer at this point.

Cyberpunk 2077 Has Picked Itself Up From The Ground

It bears mentioning how far this IP has come when you take into account its botched launch and the subsequent doomsday that fell upon CD Projekt Red. Staying determined and hard-focused, though, the devs pulled Cyberpunk 2077 out of its bugged and broken state and polished it to near perfection. Fast-forward to today, this game has rightfully earned its redemption.
