The Ragnahawk is a flying mount in Palworld and is largely considered one of the best airborne Fire Pals. Players can mostly find these creatures at Mount Obsidian, located at the western edge of the map, which is also home to several high-tier Fire Pals. However, Ragnahawks are usually Level 30+, so you’ll need to level up a bit before you can start catching them.
- Ragnahawks are airborne Fire Pals in Palworld with Level 3 Kindling and Level 3 Transporting as their Work Suitability traits, making them suitable for kindling tasks.
- Players can find Ragnahawks traveling in groups on the western and southern edge of Mount Obsidian, a biome on the map’s west side.
- Ragnahawks are extremely high level and will require Giga Spheres or higher to catch.
- Players can also ride Ragnahawks in Palworld by crafting a Ragnahawk saddle at Level 37 using Leather, Ingots, Cloth pieces, Flame Organs, and Paldium Fragments.
Where To Find A Ragnahawk In Palworld
As mentioned, Ragnahawks in Palworld are located in Mount Obsidian, specifically the northmost and westmost region of the biome.
In my experience, you’ll most likely find a Ragnahawk traveling with its group. Therefore, by attacking one Ragnahawk, you’ll trigger the entire group, which is why capturing one can be so challenging.
The Capture Rate of a Ragnahawk is extremely low, and I know it because I had a 5% Capture Rate when using a Giga Sphere against it. Maybe it was my lucky day that I still caught it with a Capture Rate that low, but I’d still recommend farming Hyper or Ultra Sphere if you want to guarantee a catch.
- To avoid a tedious runback, I recommend unlocking the Eternal Pyre Tower Entrance’s Fast Travel point, since it’s close to both regions where you’ll find the Ragnahawk.
- Alternatively, if you’re looking in the southern region, which is much easier to traverse, you can unlock the Fisherman Point’s Fast Travel Point.
Furthermore, once you encounter a Ragnahawk, you can go into the Paldeck, scroll down to Ragnahawk’s Paldeck No. 074, and toggle the Habitat option to see where they are. This is a helpful method in case you want to go on a catching spree.
Stats Of The Ragnahawk
I’ve listed down the stats that are common among all Ragnahawks in the table below:
STAT | VALUE |
---|---|
Element | Fire |
Work Sustainability | Level 3 Kindling | Level 3 Transporting |
Food | 7/10 |
Partner Skill | Flame Wing: Can be ridden as a flying mount. |
Active Skills | Flare Storm | Sand Tornado | Flare Arrow |
Overall, I’d argue the Ragnahawk is the best Fire Pal you can have in Palworld. It’s a much better choice over the Vanwyrm because of its strong balance between Attack and Defense. It’s also one of the few Pals with Level 3 Kindling, making it great for furnaces, kitchens, and campfires at your base.
Once you have a Ragnahawk in your collection, you can even craft a saddle to mount it at Level 37 with the following requirements:
That wraps up my guide on the location and stats of the Ragnahawk in Palworld. I would definitely urge you to get this Pal as soon as you can because traversal and combat will be miles easier when you have this beast in your inventory.
