As you progress in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you will want to give Link armor to increase his defense. To do that, you will have to get the Archaic Tunic, as it is easy to find. Where To Find Archaic Warm Tunic
Archaic Warm Greaves or Tunic can be found after you complete the Gutanbac Shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Without completing the Gutanbac Shrine, you won’t be able to get the armor, as you would need the ascend ability, which u unlock after completing the shrine.
After the completion of the shrine at the east, you will see a large tree stump. Now go toward the tree stump and use your ascend ability through the piece of the bark hanging off the cliff. After that, head into the tree stump, and you will find a chest. Open the chest, and inside, you will find the Archaic Warm Tunic. Equip them, and you are free to explore the southern part of the Great Sky Island.
Will Archaic Warm Greaves Be Enough To Protect Link From Cold?
The answer is no. As you move into the colder climes, the Archaic Warm Tunic set won’t be enough to protect Link from the cold. But there is nothing to worry about, as this will be your first set of warm tunics, not the last. So, there will be opportunities for you in the future to get more sets. The next opportunity to obtain more warm clothing will be at Rito Village in the Hedra Region.
In Rito Village, you will be able to get more gear to protect Link from the stronger cold. The complete Snowquill set will give you an unfreeze trait.
