I have tried the M4 in MW3, my favorite weapon in-game. With a perfect loadout, you will surely dominate the close and mid-range combat with enough practice.
The following is the best Loadout for M4:
- Stock: Tempus P80 Strike Stock
- Barrel: Hightower 20″ Barrel
- Rear Grip: Phantom Grip
- Optic: Cronen Mini Pro
- Muzzle: Harbinger D20
- Improved ADS Control
- Better Hip Fire Accuracy
- High Muzzle Velocity
- Aim Walking Steadiness
- Limited Range
- Not fastest TTK
I have chosen the loadout above to maximize the damage potential and range of M4. You can even use it in the long-range, but there might be some stability issues, so make sure to crouch or prone before using it in the long range.
Tempus P80 Strike Stock will increase the Sprint and ADS speed, which is extremely helpful, especially in multiplayer modes. I have used the Hightower 20″ Barrel, which is perfect for M4. It increases the recoil control that we lost with the previous attachment. The Phantom Grip is already pretty famous as it increases the ADS speed of M4 along with the Sprint to fire time.
For Optic, go with the Cronen Mini Pro as M4 already has 30-round Mag, so I don’t think players should go for the 45-round one. Lastly, go for the Harbinger D20 as the Muzzle, as it will increase the overall damage of the M4.
Best M4 Class Setup
The following are the best perks, equipment, and secondary weapons for M4:
- Perks: Gunner Vest and Commando Gloves.
- Equipment: Frag Grenade and Battle Rage.
- Secondary Weapon: Striker/Lockwood 300
In my opinion, the Gunner Vest is the best vest as it lets you equip two primary weapons, meaning that your secondary weapon will also become primary. It also improves the reload speed of the M4, so it is arguably the best pick.
- As you will be able to choose another primary weapon with M4, I would recommend choosing Striker or Lockwood 300.
- Regarding the Commando Golves, they will let you reload your gun while sprinting, which comes in handy every single time.
- If you use Gunner Vest, you won’t be able to use the rest of the gear as the vest is enough.
- Regarding the equipment, it is better to use Frag Grenade as it can be used effectively against the enemies behind a cover.
- Also, Battle Rage is the best suited for the loadout as it helps to regenerate health quickly and has some other benefits.
My Thoughts On The M4 Loadout
I consider the M4 the best Assault Rifle in MW3, so I highly recommend that every player try the loadout and class setup.
M4 is one of the best weapons that are available early in MW3. The weapon has the potential to dominate mid-range combat. At close range, SMGs and Shotguns are the problems, but another primary weapon can solve that.
