The Oblige is a late-game special weapon, and depending on the ending you get, you can trade it for either your last or second-last Rare Ergo. How To Get The Noblesse Oblige In Lies Of P?

Players can obtain the Noblesse Oblige by visiting Alidoro/Explorer Hugo at Hotel Krat and trading the Fallen One’s Ergo that they can receive after killing Simon Manus, Awakened God.

As a late-game special weapon, getting the Noblesse Oblige is considerably challenging, as you can only get it after you kill Simon Manus, Awakened God. You can find Simon just beyond the Arche Abbey Cradle of the Gods Stargazer in Chapter 11. After defeating the boss, you’ll receive the Fallen One’s Ergo. Head back to Hotel Krat, visit Alidoro or Explorer Hugo, and trade the Ergo for the Noblesse Oblige.

The Oblige does also have D-tier Technique scaling, but in my experience, you can find much better Technique weapons in Lies of P.

• For its Fable Arts, the Oblige’s Weapon Blade uses 3 Fable Charges to perform a wide-range downward blow.

• The weapon Handle’s Fable Art, Endure, uses 1 Fable Charge to raise your poise and make you withstand enemy attacks.

Upgrade Path

Like most special weapons, upgrading the Noblesse Oblige from Eugenie only enhances its Physical ATK. Of course, if you have high Motivity, the damage bonus you get for each upgrade will be much higher, so the base and peak damage of this weapon may vary.

My Experience And Tips

As a Technique build, I personally didn’t find the Noblesse Oblige all that useful since it’s fairly slow, extremely heavy, and doesn’t scale with my primary attribute. However, for Motivity builds, I find it the ideal weapon to use as players start up NG+. 

For players looking to use the Oblige, I would recommend equipping the Patience Amulet as it would significantly raise your Stamina Recovery speed, enabling you to keep pressure on the enemy constantly. I’d also encourage using the Arm of God Amulet, as it can give you damage boosts with successive attacks, a feature the Noblesse Oblige excels in.
