Aphelion is a weapon in Remnant 2, which you will have to spend some time to acquire. To get the weapon, you will need to get the Override Pin and the Seeker’s Key section version of the world. Then, you need to get the crafting material to make it by defeating a boss. With all these extensive steps, one might want to look at a detailed explanation of getting and using the Aphelion.
- Aphelion is a Long Gun in Remnant 2, which can be obtained by the alternative kill for Sha’Hala: Guardian of N’Erud.
- To do the alternative, players would need the Override Pin and the Seeker’s Key version of the world.
- If they don’t have the Seeker’s Key version, players would have to reroll in Adventure Mode until they get it.
- Defeating the boss will give you Void Cinder as a reward which players can give to McCabe in Ward 13 along with additional Scraps and Lumenite Crystals so she can craft Aphelion for you.
How to Get Aphelion Long Gun In Remnant 2?

As said before, Aphelion is a weapon, and it is one of the best long guns in Remnant 2, along with the Savior weapon. The weapon requires you to acquire some items. Please note that there are many worlds in Remnant 2, and to get Aphelion, you must have the Seeker’s Key section version of the world. If you didn’t roll it in your campaign, then you would have to roll Adventure Mode until you get it, as it is the best possible solution.
How To Get The Override Pin?

To get the Override Pin in Remnant 2 on the Seeker’s Key version of N’Erud, head to the Timeless Horizon. After that, follow these steps:
- Look for an unnamed tower with two Dryzr statues in front of it.
- Go inside, get on the elevator, and go up.
- Now you will come across a room where you normally find the Seeker’s Key.
- In this version of the world, there will be an Iconic Crystal Crafting Material that you can grab and move forward to the hallway to the right side of the room leading down.
- Now you will reach another elevator that will lead you to yet another hallway.
- There will be a room at the end of the hallway, and you will notice a glowing red item on the ground.
- That item is the Override Pin you need to get the Aphelion Remnant 2.
Now that you have the Override Pin, you can trigger the alternative kill of Sha’Hala: Guardian of N’Erud to get Void Cinder, one of the crafting materials you need to craft the weapon.
Alternative Kill Of Sha’Hala: Guardian of N’Erud

Go to the boss’s arena and then go to the terminals that are in front of you. Normally you would activate them from left to right, but you don’t have to do that for an alternative kill, as doing so will just trigger the normal boss fight. So, here you have to use the Override Pin in the center of the terminal, which will spawn the alternate version of the Guardian.
- This should be done on your first try as if you fail and start the boss fight; normally, you will have to replay the world again.
- So, make sure to get it done right the first time. After defeating the boss, you get the Void Cinder.
- Now go on and collect 7 Lumenite Crystal and make sure you have Scrap x 650.

When you have the required items go to McCabe in Ward 13, and she will craft you the Aphelion Long Gun.
Is Aphelion Worth The Effort In Remnant 2?

Aphelion is arguably one of the best weapons in Remnant 2, but getting it takes a lot of time. When you fully upgrade the weapon, it becomes one of the most powerful weapons that you can use to destroy enemies. Previously due to the bug, the damage of Aphelion was nerfed, but that has been fixed in the recent patch, so you don’t have to worry about that.
The weapon is actually fun to use as it comes with a 7-round mag with a maximum capacity of 49 rounds. You can, of course, extend it even more by applying the extender mutator. This weapon comes with a Supernova weapon mod which just destroys the enemies by burning them.

You can also trigger a massive explosion with the weapon, as its basic attack is an arm beam that can hit a group of enemies in one shot. Aphelion is a pretty appealing weapon, too, and it has offensive capabilities. However, there are some drawbacks. You will be stuck with this weapon unless you have access to Adventure Mode to reroll the world.
You should also note that using this weapon in Co-op mode can prove to be tricky, as the AoE can damage your teammates. So, in the end, the weapon’s worth depends solely on your preference. Following are the stats of the weapon:
- Damage: 62
- Max Ammo: 49
- Critical Hit Chance: 15%
- Weak Spot Damage Bonus: 100%
- Ideal Range: 20m
- Falloff Range: 65m
- Stagger Modifier: -25%
That’s almost everything you would want to know about the Secret Long Gun, Aphelion Remnant 2. The weapon is great and destroys enemies when fully upgraded. Getting the weapon can prove to time consuming, so you can decide whether to get it or not based on your preferences.
