Remnant 2: How To Get Aphelion Long Gun [Walkthrough]

Aphelion is a weapon in Remnant 2, which you will have to spend some time to acquire. To get the weapon, you will need to get the Override Pin and the Seeker’s Key section version of the world. Then, you need to get the crafting material to make it by defeating a boss. With all these extensive steps, one might want to look at a detailed explanation of getting and using the Aphelion.

How to Get Aphelion Long Gun In Remnant 2?

As said before, Aphelion is a weapon, and it is one of the best long guns, along with the Savior weapon. The weapon requires you to acquire some items. Please note that there are many worlds in Remnant 2. To get Aphelion, you must have the Seeker’s Key section version of the world. If you didn’t roll it in your campaign, then you would have to roll Adventure Mode until you get it, as it is the best possible solution.

How To Get The Override Pin?

To get the Override Pin in Remnant 2 on the Seeker’s Key version of N’Erud, head to the Timeless Horizon.

Here’s a quick rundown of all the steps I followed to obtain the Override Pin:

1. Look for an unnamed tower with two Dryzr statues in front of it.
2. Go inside, get on the elevator, and go up.
3. Now, you will come across a room where you normally find the Seeker’s Key.
4. In this version of the world, there will be an Iconic Crystal Crafting Material that you can grab and move forward to the hallway to the right side of the room leading down.
5. Now, you will reach another elevator that will lead you to yet another hallway. 
6. There will be a room at the end of the hallway, and you will notice a glowing red item on the ground.
7. That item is the Override Pin you need to get the Aphelion Remnant 2.

Now that you have the Override Pin, you can trigger the alternative kill of Sha’Hala: Guardian of N’Erud to get Void Cinder, one of the crafting materials you need to craft the weapon.

Alternative Kill Of Sha’Hala: Guardian of N’Erud

Go to the boss’s arena and then go to the terminals that are in front of you. Normally, you would activate them from left to right, but you don’t have to do that for an alternative kill, as doing so will just trigger the normal boss fight. So, here, you have to use the Override Pin in the center of the terminal, which will spawn the alternate version of the Guardian.

1. This should be done on your first try as if you fail and start the boss fight; normally, you will have to replay the world again.
2. So, make sure to get it done right the first time. After defeating the boss, you get the Void Cinder.
3. Now go on and collect 7 Lumenite Crystal, and make sure you have Scrap x650.

When you have the required items, go to McCabe in Ward 13, and she will craft you the Aphelion Long Gun.

Is Aphelion Worth The Effort?

Aphelion is arguably one of the best weapons, but getting it takes a lot of time. When you fully upgrade the weapon, it becomes one of the most powerful weapons that you can use to destroy enemies. Previously due to the bug, the damage of Aphelion was nerfed, but that has been fixed in the recent patch, so you don’t have to worry about that.

The weapon is actually fun to use as it comes with a 7-round mag with a maximum capacity of 49 rounds. You can, of course, extend it even more by applying the extender mutator. This weapon comes with a Supernova weapon mod, which just destroys the enemies by burning them.

• Weak Spot Damage Bonus: 100%
• Ideal Range: 20m
• Falloff Range: 65m
