Disney Dreamlight Valley: All Eric Quests Walkthrough

The most fun part of Disney Dreamlight Valley is definitely all the quests it has in store for the players. Each character that you come across in the game will have their own quests that you need to complete in order to progress. Today we will be discussing Eric’s quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley. 

How To Unlock Prince Eric 

Before you can unlock the quests for Eric, you need to unlock him in the game. We know that Ariel made a deal with Ursula to get human legs in exchange for her voice. It so happens that Prince Eric also made a deal with Ursula that will allow him to save Ariel from the Forgetting.

Meeting Ursula 

First of all, you need to complete a quest called A Deal With Ursula, where you will have to collect some Dark Crystals. Collecting these crystals and giving them to Ursula will help you get Eric. However, he will not be in his right state, and you will have to help him. From that point, you will get access to their first quest of Eric called A Poor Unfortunate Prince. Let’s take a look at his first quest, along with all the quests that you will be taking on in the game.

All Eric Quests In Disney Dreamlight Valley

In order to increase your Friendship Level with Eric, you will need to complete his quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Every quest you complete will have a reward for you.

Also, there are four quests in Eric’s questline that you need to complete in order to increase your friendship level with him.

Let’s take a look at all of them.

Poor Unfortunate Prince Quest 

The first quest that you need to complete in Eric’s questline is the Poor Unfortunate Prince. The quest will require you to perform a certain kind of ritual that will help you free Eric from a curse.

After you have successfully completed a deal with Ursula’s quest, you will get The Poor Unfortunate Eric Item that you can access in your inventory. 

Talking To Merlin 

The first step is to find Merlin and ask him for his help. He will give you a series of steps that will help free Eric from the current state he is in. First of all, you need to place a castle of Eric in your village.

After that, you need to go inside and look for a table. There you can see a flute that you need to take. 

Meeting Ariel  

Now go look for Ariel and give her the flute. Then she will play the flute and perform the ritual that Merlin told you about. Doing so will automatically bring Eric back into the village. Don’t forget to check out our guide on seafood platter to see how you can make it. 

As soon as he arrives, you need to go and speak to him, and he will thank you for inviting him. Now all you need to do is cook some meals for Eric. Also, he will give you the recipes for each dish that you need to make for him. You can access them easily in your inventory.

Gazpacho 

The first recipe you need to make is Gazpacho, and you will need the following ingredients for it. 

•  1 Herb (Basil Or Oregano)– It can be found in Peaceful Meadow or Plaza. 
•  1 Cucumber– Can be obtained by going to the Frosted Heights and visiting Goofy’s Stall 
•  1 Onion– Can be obtained by visiting the Forest Of Valor and the Goofy’s Stall. 
•  1 Tomato– Can be obtained in the Dazzle Beach region by visiting Goofy’s Stall. 

Vegetarian Stew 

The next recipe that you will be making is the Vegetarian Stew. The following are the ingredients required for it. 

• 1 Onion- Can be acquired at Goofy’s Stall located in the Forest Of Valor. 
• 1 Carrot- Can be bought end the Peaceful Meadow region by visiting Goofy‘S Stall. 
• 1 Potato- Can be acquired by visiting Forgotten Lands and going to Goofy’s Stall. 

Berry Salad 

The following are the ingredients required for Berry Salad.

• 1 Blueberry- Can be acquired in the regions of Dazzle Beach and Forest Of Valor. 
• 1 Gooseberry- Can be obtained in the regions of Forgotten Lands and Frosted Heights. 
• 1 Raspberry- It is available in the regions of Peaceful Meadow and Plaza.

Completing The Quest 

Now all you need to do is deliver all these meals; you have to go to Eric and listen to him having a conversation with Ariel. To complete the quest, you need to speak to Eric for the last time.

Part Of His World Quest 

the next quest that you will take is called A Part Of His World. It is a fairly short quest and won’t require much of your time. For the quest, you will have to help Eric craft a Nautilus Pendant.

Before you take on the quest, make sure that you have completed A Poor Unfortunate Prince quest. 

Talking To Eric 

 In order to initiate the quest, you will need to interact with Eric. After going through his dialogue options, you will learn that there is an item that Ursula talked about when he was captured by her. So you will need to go and find Maui and speak to him.

It Is important that you listen to the whole procedure carefully in order to help Ariel walk on land again. 

Items Required For Shapeshifting Enchantment 

You will need a set of rare items in order to complete the shape Shifting Enchantment and help Ariel become human again. 

The following are items that you will need. 

•  1 Empty Vial- You can make the while using three glasses. 
•  5 Purified Night Shards- You will need five-night Shards for it and one Dreamlight shard to purify them. 
•  5 White Impatiens- You can get them by visiting the forgotten lands. 

As soon as you have all the resources, you need to head to the Crafting Station. Combining these materials will help you craft the shape-shifting Enchantment.

Crafting The Bait 

After you have completed the shapeshifting enchantment, give it to Eric. However, he will tell you that you will also need to give the fish gut oil to Remy. When you go and talk to them, he will give you a list of ingredients that you need to create bait for catching a Nautilus.

The following are all the items you will need. 

•  One Crab- Can be acquired in Frosted Heights. 
•  One Lancetfish- Can be obtained in the Forgotten Lands. 
•  4 Onion- are available at Goofy’s Stall located in the Forest Of Valor. You need to get their seeds. 
•  4 Garlic– Can be obtained in the Forest Of Valor. 

Now you need to give all these ingredients to Remy. After giving all the ingredients to him, he will make your bait. Make your way to the dazzle beach region in the game. Look for a wooden bridge, and there will be able to spot a golden circle in the lake.

This bubbling fishing spot is where you need to throw your bait. Open your inventory and click on the bait and combine it with your fishing rod. 

Completing The Quest 

After that, you just need to fish in the golden circle and look for a Nautilus. As soon as you catch the Nautilus, you need to give the Nautilus to Eric as well as the Shapeshifting Enchantment. After that, you will be able to get a Nautilus Pendant in your inventory that you need to give to Ariel, and she will be able to walk on land again.

Back On The Waves Quest 

Another short quest that you need to complete in order to increase your Friendship Level with Eric is Back On The Waves. Since Eric is an avid fan of traveling, you will need to help him repair a compass. Doing so will help him resume his naval expeditions and increase his Friendship Level with them.

When you interact with Eric and complete his dialogue options, you will learn that he really wants to get back to the sea and continue traveling. Now it is your job to help him out. You will need to help him repair his compass and also get some maps for him. To do that, you need to give Scrooge McDuck a visit.

After getting the sea maps from him, go back to Eric and give him the item. Also, he will tell you that there is a compass that needs repair. Now you need to go to Wall E in order to repair the compass.

Finding Wall E 

Now all you need to do is find Wall E. After doing that, you need to speak to him about the compass. He will give you a list of items that you will need in order to make a new Dreamlight Magnet for the compass. Here are all the items that you will need in order to craft it.  

• 4 Iron Ingots– you can make them easily by combining one coal with five iron ore. 
• 8 Crystals- from the Forgotten Lands, you can mine them from the rock deposits that can be found in the region.
• 6 Tinkering Parts- you can craft them by using two Iron Ingots for each of them. 

Completing The Quest 

After that, you need to take all these items back to the Crafting Station. Here you will be able to make the Dreamlight Magnet after combining the materials. When you have successfully crafted the Dreamlight Magnet, give him to Wall-E.  

He will fix the Compass for you that you can take to Eric. As soon as you give him the compass, he will thank you. Furthermore, he will ask you to meet him at his House in the Valley. When you go to his home, you will have to complete all the dialogue options with him.

Doing so will unlock the Project Table that is located in his home. Moreover, you will also complete the quest and increase your Friendship Level with him. 

Let’s move on to the next quest in Prince Eric’s questline. 

The Mystical Crystal Quest 

The final quest that you will be taking on for Prince Eric is the Mystical Crystal. However, in order to take on the quest, you will need a Friendship Level of 10 with him.

Also, in the quest, you will help him build a Diving Suit. Furthermore, you will also help him upgrade his table for future expeditions.

Let’s see how you can complete the quest easily.

Interacting With Eric 

As soon as you reach Friendship Level 10 go and speak to Eric and complete all of his dialogue options. He will then tell you about a strange artifact. Also, he will tell you that he found it during one of his adventures. 

Now you need to give Merlin a visit. After that, he will tell you that you need to enchant the compass by using some materials. The materials that are required to enjoy the Compass are the following. 

• Five Purified Night Shards- They can be obtained by using one Dreamlight Shard and five Night Shards each. 
• 10 Crystals- They can be obtained quite easily from the rock deposits that are found in Forgotten Lands and can be harvested from them. 

After you have collected all the items successfully, you need to go back to Merlin. After giving him all the items, he will give you a Mystical Compass. Now you need to go back to Eric and gift it to him.

After a few dialogue options, he will ask you to craft a diving suit. He will also tell you that he needs the diving suit for his expeditions, so you have to help him out. For the diving suit, you will need the following materials. 

•  5 Gold Ingots They can be crafted after using one coal and five gold Nuggets. 
•  8 Glass Can only be crafted using one coal and five sand. 
• 15 Iron Ingots can be crafted using one coal and five iron ore. 
• 20 Fabric Can be crafted by using 5 pieces of cotton for each one. 

After you have successfully crafted all the items necessary for the diving suit, you need to go back to Eric. There will be another upgrade waiting for you for the blueprint table.

Also, you will get a diving helmet from Eric and a miniature boat as well. After that, the quest will conclude automatically. 

Best Gifts For Eric 

Keep in mind that the gifts for Eric will change on a daily basis. However, some of the common gifts that he likes are the following. 

•  Fabric 
•  Potato 
•  Vegetarian Stew 

Rewards For Eric 

You will get a lot of rewards as well, depending upon the Friendship Level you have with him. You will get hair cosmetics, Star Coins, items for decoration, clothing items, and different design motifs.
