Hogwarts Legacy: All Demiguise Statue Locations

Hogwarts Legacy offers many dense areas to explore and find all sorts of secrets. These can be things such as unlocking spells like the Unforgivable Curses or simply exploring with the flying broom to discover new things. But if you want to find many of the hidden places in Hogwarts, it might be worth your time to collect all of the Demiguise Statues (Demiguise Moons) in Hogwarts Legacy.

These statues are spread throughout the world and are needed to complete a certain side quest and also unlock a spell that can get you into many of the hidden areas in the game. However, collecting them all is not an easy task as they’re hidden quite well, and there are certain requirements needed to collect all of them.

What Are Demiguise Statues And Moons

To clear up the name confusion, Demiguise Statues and Demiguise Moons are the exact same thing. They’re also known as the Demiguise Moons in the game but are labeled differently in the trophy description. We will be using both names interchangeably.

These statues are a form of collectible in the game that appear as a Monkey-like creature holding a moon (thus the name). They’re initially collected as part of a main quest, but the rest can be collected as part of a side quest.

If you complete a sufficient amount of Demiguise Moons, you’ll be awarded different tiers of the Alohomora spell. The spell allows you to open locked doors and get into areas where it otherwise would’ve been impossible to reach. There are three different tiers for the spell, and each tier allows you to reach higher-leveled doors.

All Demiguise Statue Locations

• There are 33 Demiguise Statue Locations in Hogwarts Legacy, spread across the map. Hover over an area to see the statue count, including what you’ve collected and what’s remaining.
• To begin collecting, complete the 25th Main Quest: “The Caretaker’s Lunar.” You’ll receive three statues and level 1 of the Alohomora Spell. Subsequently, the side quest “The Man Behind the Moons” lets you exchange collected Demiguise Moons for higher Alohomora Spell levels.
• Collect statues exclusively at night; they’re inactive during the day. Change the time by selecting “wait” at the bottom of the map using the right stick.
• Demiguise Statues are not missable; you can retrieve them during or after the main quest. The challenge is reaching some statues, as higher Alohomora levels are needed for certain ones.
• Here are all the statue locations categorized by the Alohomora level required. Use the table to plan your path, and use “Revealio” when close to a statue for easy identification.

Demiguise Statues #1-3

The first three Demiguise Statues can be acquired by simply progressing through the main storyline. Once you reach Main Quest 25: The Caretaker’s Lunar Lament, you’ll be tasked to find three Demiguise Moons. Therefore, there’s no way that you can miss them.

Demiguise Statue #4 – North Ford Bog

After acquiring the Alohomora spell, the first statue that you should try to go for is inside a house in Pitt-Upon-Ford. After you reach the location shown on the map, you should be able to spot a house with a carriage near it and a bunch of cauldrons near the entrance.

Head inside the house and keep going upstairs till you reach the attic. You’ll find the statue to your immediate left as soon as you take the stairs to the attic.

Demiguise Statue #5 – South Hogwarts Region

The next statue can be found in a house in Aranshire in South Hogwarts Region. First, make your way to the location shown on the map; you’ll likely be able to fast travel here as well. From the Floo Flames Fast Travel spot, head to the house in front and slightly to the left of it.

You will actually need to use your level 1 Alohomora spell to break open the lock to enter the house. If you see the lock, you’ll know that you’re at the right house. Go up the stairs to the left of the entrance, and you’ll find the Demiguise Moon at the bottom end of the bed.

Demiguise Statue #6 – Hogsmeade Valley

The next statue that you can acquire while still only possessing level 1 of Alohomora is found in Upper Hogsfield, in Hogsmeade Valley. Just like the previous statue, you’ll need to head inside a house to find the statue.

If you head to the location as shown on the map, there will be multiple houses. Head to the one which has its door right in front of the well. The house will only have one floor and will also have a wooden wheel right next to its entrance. You’ll spot the Demiguise Moon as soon as you enter the house on top of a stool.

Demiguise Statue #7 – South Hogwarts Region

You can find another Demiguise Statue in a house in Lower Hogsfield in the South Hogwarts Region. Head to the location as shown on the map. You can use the Floo Fast Travel Spot to get a better understanding of where the house is.

The Floo Fast Travel spot is directly next to the fencing of the house that you need to enter. It is the one with flowerpots around the door. Head inside and look to the immediate left of the door to find the Demiguise Moon. You might need to close the door to spot it.

Demiguise Statue #8 – Keenbridge

For the next Demiguise Moon, you’ll want to make your way over to Keenbridge in Hogwarts Valley. When you head to the location shown, look towards the north side, and you’ll spot a house further away from all other houses.

Make your way towards it, and you’ll know if it’s the right house if you can spot a bunch of pumpkins in the house’s garden. Additionally, the house will have a lock on it which will require level 1 Alohomora. You’ll find the statue on a table as soon as you break into the house, right next to the stairs.

Demiguise Statue #9 – Hogwarts Valley

There is yet another Demiguise Statue in the Hogwarts Valley, in Brocburrow, to be specific. The exact location of where you’ll find the statue is shown in the image above. Just like the previous few statues, you’ll need to enter inside a house to find the statue.

There are multiple houses in the area, but you can use the well in the center as a reference point. From the well, head towards the northwestmost house. As soon as you enter inside, you’ll find the Demiguise Moon left of the entrance, just past a bunch of brooms.

Demiguise Statue #10 – Marunweem Lake Region

You’ll need to head inside a house in Marunweem in the Marunweem Lake Region to find the next Demiguise Moon. There is only one major house that is in the area, which is shown on the map. But for clarity, it is the Northwest house with clothes hanging outside on a clothesline. When you enter inside, head to the left side of the room, and you’ll find the statue below a shelf with a bunch of bottles.

Demiguise Statue #11 – Feldcroft Region

You need to enter a house in Irondale in Feldcroft Region to get hold of the next Demiguise Moon. From the location shown on the map, enter the first house you see while facing north. For reference, there will be a wooden barrel right next to the door and a bunch of wooden crates next to it.

As soon as you enter inside, look to your right and head behind the kitchen counter and next to the furnace to find the statue. If you can’t spot it, you can always just use Revealio, and the statue will be highlighted.

Demiguise Statue #12 – Tomes And Scrolls

For the next Demiguise Moon, you’ll need to head towards Tomes and Scrolls in Hogsmeade. You can simply hover over the buildings to find the shop or just use the image above as a reference to find it. You can even find it while simply exploring Hogsmeade, as the shop will have a green entrance and will be labeled.

Regardless of how you find the shop, make your way inside and head behind the shopkeeper. Turn left, and you’ll be able to spot a room. Head inside the room and look to the left to find the Demiguise Moon on top of a table next to a furnace.

Unlock Level 2 Alohomora

Before you continue to collect more Demiguise Moon Statues in Hogwarts Legacy, you should upgrade your Alohomora to level 2 so that you can access more locked doors. You should have nine additional statues, and if you give them to Gladwin Moon, he’ll happily upgrade your spell.

To find him, you can track him using the side quest “The Man Behind the Moons.” Alternatively, you can directly head towards him by going into Hogwarts Castle and into the Faculty Tower through the South Wing. If you give him nine statues, he’ll grant you a Level 2 Alohomora Spell. After you’ve done that, you can move on to acquiring many more statues.

Demiguise Statue #13 – House In Hogsmeade

After you’ve acquired the level 2 Alohomora spell, you can start exploring Hogsmeade in detail and find many level 2 locks and the statues behind them. Start from the location of the statue which you found in Tomes and Scrolls, and move towards the first alley-north west to find the house’s entrance. You can use the waypoint in the image above as a reference.

You’ll know you’re at the right house when you see the huge level 2 lock. Use your new Alohomora spell on it to get inside. Once inside, go up the stairs, and you’ll find the statue immediately infront of you on top of a drawer as soon as you reach the top.

Demiguise Statue #14 – J. Pippin’s Potions

You can find another Demiguise Statue in Hogsmeade near J. Pippin’s Potions, slightly north of Hog’s Head Pub. You’re not going to need to head inside J. Pippin’s Potions, but actually, look for a house to the immediate north of it; there should be only one.

Just like before, you’ll know you’re at the right place because there will be a level 2 lock on the door which you can unlock using Alohomora level 2. After you open the lock, head upstairs and look towards the left sections of the room to find the statue on top of a wooden drawer.

Demiguise Statue #15 – Hog’s Head Pub

The following statue can be found inside the Hog’s Head Pub in Hogsmeade. The Pub is found in the southwest corner of Hogsmeade, as shown in the image above. As you approach it, you’ll notice the labeling on top of the front door. Alternatively, you can just look at your map as it will be marked there.

Head inside and go towards the backroom found to the right of the bartender. Look to your left as soon as you enter to find the Demiguise Moon sitting on top of two wooden crates.

Demiguise Statue #16 – The Three Broomsticks

You can find the next statue in The Three Broomsticks inn in Hogsmeade. The location is shown in the image above. You need to head inside and take the stairs all the way up to the top. Over there, you’ll find a level 1 locked door. Use Alohomora to get past the lock, and you’ll spot the Demiguise Moon right in front of you on a small table.

Demiguise Statue #17 – House Near The Three Broomsticks

If you continue onwards from the Three Broomsticks Inn, you’ll be able to find another statue inside a locked house. You can find the house directly east of The Three Broomsticks Inn, and the location is shown in the image above.

Just like before, you’ll know if you’ve got the right house because there will be a level 1 lock there. Get inside using Alohomora and go upstairs. You’ll find the statue to your immediate left on top of a wooden table with a bunch of books next to it.

Demiguise Statue #18 – House On Hill

For the next Demiguise Moon Statue Location in Hogwarts Legacy, you need to enter a house in the northeastern section of Hogsmeade. The house will be on a hill at the location shown in the image above. You’ll find a level 1 lock at the door, which can be broken through Alohomora. Head inside to find the statue to your right on top of a wooden table.

Demiguise Statue #19 – Dervish And Bangles

The next statue doesn’t require you to deal with any complicated locks and just requires you to reach a certain location. As shown on the map, you need to head inside Dervish and Bangles, which can be found to the immediate west of the Gladrags Wizardwear.

You’ll be able to spot the shop immediately due to its green palette and the sign on top of the entrance. Head inside, and you’ll instantly find the statue on top of the shopkeeper’s countertop.

Demiguise Statue #20 – House Near Bridge

There is another statue found in Hogsmeade in the northeast sections of the area just before the bridge. In fact, it is the house that is to the immediate east of the bridge in the area shown on the map.

Luckily you won’t have to search too hard as you’ll be able to spot the door due to its glowing level 1 lock. Get inside, and you’ll find the Demiguise Moon right in front of you on top of a shelf above the fireplace.

Demiguise Statue #21 – Manor Cape

Head to Bainburgh town in Manor Cape, as shown in the image above. From the Floo Fast Travel point, head slightly northeast to find the northern house of the town. The house will have a bunch of metal cages outside and a level 1 lock. Get inside, and you’ll find the statue on top of a small wooden stool next to a big chair.

Demiguise Statue #22 – Cragcroft

The next statue can be found in the hamlet of Cragcroft in Cragcroftshire. There’s no exact lock or something to indicate which is the right house. However, if you head to the location shown in the image above, you’ll spot the target house at the west edge.

The house will be to the right of a merchant. If you use the Floo Travel Spot as a reference, then head to the westmost house. Head inside and go upstairs, and you’ll find the statue on a tabletop next to the bed.

Demiguise Statue #23 – Feldcroft Region

Now that you’ve got level 2 Alohomora, you can head back out into the different regions of the open world and unlock different doors. In the east of Feldcroft town, you’ll find a house in the image shown above.

Use the well in the center of the location as a reference and head towards the house in the southeast. There will be a level 2 door lock that you should be able to open now. Look to your left after you enter to find the statue in a window.

Demiguise Statue #24 – Clock Tower Courtyard

If you’re following the order of our list, then you’ve likely collected all of the statues in Hogsmeade and the surrounding areas. The only area left where you can find the remaining statues is in Hogwarts. The first statue that you can come across with ease is the Clock Tower Courtyard statue.

From the South Wing, fast travel to the Clock Tower Courtyard. Once there, take the door, which is right next to the Floo Fast Travel point. Keep going straight, and then take a left after you make it past the second door. Go down the hallway, and you’ll find a door with a level 1 lock (it will be the second door in the hallway).

Use Alohomora to get inside the bathroom. Once inside, go through the middle bathroom stall, the one with a sign hanging on it as well, and you’ll be led to a backroom with the Demiguise Statue on the left.

Demiguise Statue #25 – Potions Classroom

You can find the next statue in The Library Annex and through the Potions Classroom fast travel point. From there, go through the door right in front of you and turn left to take the stairs that’ll lead you downstairs. Keep heading downstairs until you reach a hallway with a door at the end with a level 1 lock.

Use Alohomora on the lock and continue down another hallway while keeping your eye on the doors to your left. You’ll eventually come across a door with a level 2 lock. Use Alohomora again to open the potions storage room. The statue will be on a wooden crate in the right corner of the storage room, next to the ladder.

Demiguise Statue #26 – Divination Classroom

The next statue can be found in the Divination Classroom in The Library Annex at Hogwarts. From the fast travel spot, head all the way to the top of the stairs. Near the purple vertical section of the wall at the top, a ladder will appear.

Climb the ladder to head inside the Divination Classroom. From there, look towards the teacher’s desk, and you’ll find the Demiguise Moon Statue on top of it. You can get across by jumping over the different tables in the way. By now, you actually have enough Demiguise Moon Statues to unlock all levels of the Alohomora spell. But you can continue collecting more to attain the trophy.

Demiguise Statue #27 – Library

For the next Demiguise Statue, you’ll need to head into the restricted section of the library. Fast travel to the library, and from the fast travel spot, turn around and go to the end of the hallway towards the bookshelves.

Turn right from there and go in between the two bookshelves to make your way over to the gate that leads into the restricted section. From there, take the stairs in the middle of the room and keep heading downstairs. After you make it down the first flight of stairs, go through the open door on the left side of the room and then take the door on the right side of the following room to go down another set of stairs.

Then follow the linear path all the way to the end to come across the Demiguise Statue on top of a table.

Demiguise Statue #28 – The Great Hall

In Hogwarts, fast travel to the Great Hall Floo Flame location in the Great Hall Wing. From the fast-travel spot, go forward and to the right side of the room. Near the end of the hall, you’ll find a door with a Level 1 lock. You can use Alohomora to get inside. The Demiguise Moon Statue will be directly in front of you on a tale in the center of the room.

Demiguise Statue #29 – Hogwarts North Exit

There are two different Demiguise Moon Statues in the Bell Tower Wing, and one of them can be found near the Hogwarts North Exit Floo Flame Fast Travel location. From the fast travel spot, turn around and head northeast along the wall.

Just beyond the stairs that lead upwards on the wall, you’ll find a door in the wall. It will have a level 1 lock which you can likely break with ease by now. Once you’re inside, the statue will be on your right on top of a wooden crate with a basket next to it.

Demiguise Statue #30 – Beasts Classroom

If you want to acquire the next remaining Demiguise Statue in Hogwarts Legacy, then you need to fast-travel to Beasts Classroom in The Bell Tower Wing. From the fast travel location, head northwest and keep an eye on the doors to your left. The second door that you’ll see will be a level 2 locked door. Once you use Alohomora to get inside, you’ll find the statue right in front of you on top of a wooden table.

Demiguise Statue #31 – Transfiguration Courtyard

You’ll likely be able to find two different statues in the Transfiguration Courtyard in the Astronomy wing. For one of the statues, you need to turn around from where you spawn and head towards the door, which is left to the Floo Flame Fast Travel spots.

As soon as you enter the door on the left, look right to spot a Level 2 locked door. It’ll be on the right side of the set of stairs in the middle of the room. Use Alohomora to get inside, and you’ll find the statue on the left side on top of a desk.

Demiguise Statue #32 – Transfiguration Courtyard

There are two Demiguise Moon Statues that you can get a hold of by going through the Transfiguration Courtyard. Once you spawn into the location, turn left and keep going forward through the big visible door (it’ll be in the same direction as the dragon statue).

Keep going forward, and then take the second stairs down on your right side. Go through another door and keep heading downstairs into a cellar. At the bottom of the stairs, turn right and look for a level 1 locked door. Head inside, and you’ll find the Demiguise Moon Statue on your right on top of a wooden drawer.

Demiguise Statue #33 – Professor Fig’s Classroom

The final Demiguise Statue is quite easy to find. Use the Professor Fig’s Classroom Fast Travel Point in the Astronomy Wing. From there, simply go through the door infront of you, and you’ll spot another door on top of a bunch of stairs. Go through the door, and you’ll find the statue on the other side of the room, on the left side of the fireplace. Once you collect all of the statues, you will unlock the “Demiguise Dread” trophy/achievement.
