Hogwarts Legacy is brimming with exciting new things for you to discover. From weird enchanted things such as the eyeball chest to the confusing yet intriguing Arithmancy Puzzles, there’s much to do in the game. But one of the iconic things in the game is the flying broom which allows you access to another type of collectible in Hogwarts Legacy known as the Landing Platform Locations.
These Landing Pads are large areas spread throughout the lands of Hogwarts Legacy. They can be tricky to find as they’re well hidden within the terrain and camouflaged between natural structures such as hills, trees, and sometimes even balloons! But with a proper location guide, you won’t have any trouble finding them all.
There are 20 landing platform locations in Hogwarts Legacy, and they’re all found in the Open World. Here are all their locations summarized in a table:
|Number of Landing Platforms
|North Ford Bog
|East North Ford Bog, Fallbarton Castle
|Jackdaw's Tomb, Korrow Ruins
|South Hogwarts Region
|East South Sea Bog, West Hogwarts Valley, Keenbridge
|North Feldcroft, South Feldcroft, Hamlet of Feldcroft, Irondale
|South Poidsear Coast
|Marunweem Bridge, Coastal Bridge
|West Manor Cape #1, West Manor Cape #2
North Ford Bog Landing Platforms
Starting from the top of the map, there is only one landing platform in North Ford Bog.
Pitt-Upon-FordThe landing pad in North Ford Bog is near the Pitt-Upon-Ford Floo Flame. It is one of the easiest landing platforms to spot, as there’s nothing in the surroundings blocking the view. Just head to the location shown on the map, keep a good altitude, and you’ll spot it from far away. If you look at the image, you can see the actual landing platform shown in the world. It is on top of a wooden tower. When you land on top of the platform, the plates will move, and four flames will ignite on top of the platform, indicating you’ve collected it, and its counted as part of the challenge, which requires you to find all platforms.
Hogsmeade Valley Landing Platforms
The next big region after North Ford Bog is Hogsmeade Valley. You can expect to find two different landing platforms here.
East North Ford BogThe next landing platform can be found east of the East North Ford Bog floo flame location. There will be a medium bandit camp, a small bandit camp, and another medium bandit camp surrounding the landing platform in a triangular manner. You’ll be able to spot the location from far away due to the balloons in the area. And when you get to the location, there will be a bandit camp below the area and another one on top of a hill.
Falbarton CastleThe closest Floo Flame location to the next landing platform is the Falbarton Castle floo flame. The landing pad is still a bit further southwest from the location and is actually quite close to Hogsmeade, directly east of it on a hill. You’ll find a Merlin task and butterflies nearby. There are no balloons here to make the landing platform easier to spot. But when you’re at the location, look towards the edge of the hills to find the landing platform. Just remain close to the Merlin Trial and the butterflies on the map, and you should be able to find it with ease.
North Hogwarts Region Landing Platforms
There are two different landing platforms that can be found in the North Hogwarts Region. The North Hogwarts Region is found West of Hogsmeade and is filled with forests and running rivers. In fact, one of our locations will be near a river.
Jackdaw’s TombThe first landing platform that you can find in North Hogwarts Region is actually a river, west of the East North Hogwarts Region Floo Flame location and southwest of the Jackdaw’s Tomb Floo Flame location. Alongside the river, it’ll be right next to a small bandit with one collectible chest. Once you’re at the location shown in the image on the map above, ensure that you’re flying relatively high so that the trees don’t block your view. You should be able to spot a bunch of hills; one of them will have an old run-down shack, and another lower hill will have a tent, which will be part of the bandit camp. Just in between both of these hills will be one higher hill, which will have the landing platform on top of it.
Korrow RuinsThere aren’t that many nearby landmarks to the next landing platform, except that the location is northeast of the Korrow Ruins and west of the previous location in the North Hogwarts Region. You’ll also find Merlin’s Trial exactly to the east of the location. When you approach the location shown on the map, it might be slightly hard to spot the landing location as there are going to be many hills. Don’t make the mistake of going all the way to the top of the mountain range, as the landing pad is not up there but, in fact, below.
The easiest way to spot the landing platform is through the balloons. If you can spot the balloons, look directly North from their location and retain the same altitude as them as you move forward, and you’ll come across the landing pad.
South Hogwarts Region Landing Platforms
There is only one Landing Pad in the South Hogwarts Region, despite being quite a large region and one of the first ones that you get to explore in the game.
AranshireThe only landing pad in South Hogwarts is located directly south of Aranshire. If you take a look at the image above, there is a bridge that leads from the Hogsmeade area to the south side of the South Hogwarts Region and past Aranshire. If you actually follow the bride and keep going along the pathway, you’ll be able to find the landing pad just a bit southeast of a Merlin Trial. In terms of what it’ll be like in the open world when you’re actually approaching the location, you should be able to spot a bunch of balloons off in the distance, southwest of the landing lads. There will also be a butterfly location, and directly east of that, on top of a hill and behind a tree, is where you can find the landing pad.
Hogwarts Valley Landing Platforms
There are three different Landing Pads found inside the Hogwarts Valley region. Most of them are nearby and aren’t actually too hidden, unlike the previous few locations.
East South Sea BogYou can find the following landing pad near the East South Sea Bog Floo Flame Location. In fact, the location is almost surrounded by the Northern South Sea Bog, the Mine’s Eye, and the East South Sea Bog Floo Flame, with the landing pad in the middle of the triangle created by these fast travel spots. You’ll find the location directly west of the Merlin Trial in the area. When you arrive at the location shown on the map, it’ll be difficult to spot the landing pad as it is actually placed quite low and surrounded by a bunch of hills. The easiest and best way to spot the Landing Pad is to look for the balloons which are directly above the landing pad.
The balloons are organized in a straight line; find the balloon in the middle of them, and look directly below to spot the landing pad. You’ll also spot a bunch of railway tracks near the landing pad.
West Hogwarts ValleyYou’ll find the next landing pad north of the West Hogwarts Valley floo flame location and west of the Lower Hogsfield floo flame. The landing pad is on top of a hill which also has a treasure vault and a Dugbog lair at the bottom. When you reach the landing pad’s location, as shown on the map, you’ll likely be able to spot it with ease as there’s nothing that is blocking the view. Simply fly as high as you can and above the hill shown on the map, and you’ll spot the landing pad, with Hogwarts visible in the far distance.
KeenbridgeYou can find another landing platform in Hogwarts Valley, just northwest of the Keenbridge Floo Flame location. You’ll find the landing platform near a Merlin Trial, Diricawl Den, and a Treasure Vault, all in the same location on top of a hill with ruins. When you approach the location shown on the map, make sure you’re flying high enough to spot the landing platform. You’ll discover a bunch of ruins, and the landing platform will be on top of a building on the south side of the ruins. The building will have no rooftop, but instead, the landing platform on top. If you simply hover high enough, you should be able to find the landing platform with ease.
Feldcroft Region Landing Platforms
There are four Landing platforms in the Feldcroft Region. The region is filled with goblins and lots of enemies, so try to be careful as you maneuver through the lands.
North FeldcroftThe first landing platform in the Feldcroft Region is extremely close to the borders of the Feldcroft Region and Hogwarts Valley. It is northeast of the North Feldcroft floo flame location and southwest of the West Hogwarts Valley floo flame. You’ll also find a treasure vault, an enemy bandit camp, and a Merlin Trial nearby. When you’re at the location, try to look for a bunch of ruins. You’ll find it if you simply follow the path from the West Hogwarts Valley Floo Flame to the North Feldcroft Floo Flame.
When you spot the ruins, fly directly upwards and look southwards, and you’ll find the landing platform, as shown in the image above. There are also balloons southwest of the location, but they’re not close by. So, if you can see them with ease, you’re likely a bit too far from the actual location.
South FeldcroftThe South Feldcroft Landing Platform is extremely easy to get to if you’ve got the floo flame fast travel point unlocked. It is by the beach, just west of the Feldcroft Catacomb and south of the Rookwood Castle.
As soon as you get to the South Feldcroft floo flame location, you’ll notice that the fast travel point is inside a small shack on a beach. From the floo flame location, head outside and look to your right to spot a hill right next to the shack. You’ll find the landing platform on top of it.
For better reference, you should also be able to spot a bunch of balloons southwest of the location. And there’s also a Merlin Trial on the other side of the hill from the Floo Flame location.
Hamlet Of FeldcroftYou can find another landing pad in the Hamlet of Feldcroft, labeled as just Feldcroft in the floo flame location name. On the map, you should be able to spot some ruins right next to a troll lair, a Merlin Trial, and a treasure vault. At the location, you need to keep your eyes on the ruins. More specifically, the ruins are right up against the hills, as you’ll find the landing pad inside one of the hills. If you just fly up high enough when you’re at the ruins and look towards the hill ruins, you’ll spot the landing pad. But for ease, look in the same direction as the Troll lair to find the landing platform.
IrondaleThe next location is near Irondale in Feldcroft Region. More specifically, southwest of the Irondale floo flame location. You’ll be able to spot some ruins, a treasure vault, and a Merlin Trial next to the location. When you reach the location shown on the map above, there will be many things in the area, and the landing pad won’t be so visible. But by following a bunch of landmarks, you’ll be able to find the location. The most obvious thing to look out for is a bunch of floating balloons inside a nearby ravine. There will also be a bunch of ruins south of the location.
Spot the balloon, which is closest to the ruins, and right next to the balloon, just a bit higher, you’ll find the landing platform. You can also use the image above as a reference. In the image, you’ll notice that the balloon is at the bottom right, and the ruins are just south of the landing pad.
Poidsear Coast Landing Platforms
Poidsear Coast is a higher-leveled area, with many of the enemies being level 20 or above. Getting to the area is not an easy feat as you need to make your way through a mountain cave to reach the other side and cannot use your broom to fly over. So, if you’re trying to reach the Landing Platforms locations in the Poidsear Coast of Hogwarts Legacy or the nearby areas, then you’ll need to be slightly careful.
South Poidsear CoastOne of the first few landing platforms that you can come across in Poidsear Coast is the one near the South Poidsear Coast floo flame location. It is south of the location and southwest of the Marunweem Ruins. There are no other major locations nearby on the map. The major landmark to look for while trying to look for the landing platform is the floating balloons. In fact, you’ll find them leading from the mainland to a hill at the edge of the water in a straight path. If you simply follow the balloons, you’ll find the landing pad at the end, on top of the hill.
Marunweem Lake Landing Platforms
There are two different landing platforms in Marunweem Lake, but you need to be careful as high-level enemies surround them.
Marunweem BridgeThe first platform that you can reach, especially if you’re coming from Poidsear Coast, is the one near the Marunweem Bridge. It is on the opposite end of the bridge, near the Marunweem Lake floo flame location. When you reach the area, you’ll be able to spot many goblins, and some might even be fighting a troll nearby. Don’t engage with them, as they’ll only get in your way. Instead, get high enough with your broom, and you should be able to notice the landing platform on top of the bridge tower, as shown in the image above.
Coastal MineThe second landing platform location in Marunweem Lake is near the Coastal Mine floo flame location. More specifically, south of the Coatal Mine and northwest of the Tower Tunnel. You’ll be able to see a Merlin Trial and Thestral Den right next to the landing platform. In the actual area, look for the floating balloons, and you’ll find the platform near the balloon, which is closest to the Merlin Trial. It will be close to the hills, and you should be able to see a bunch of ruins in the distance. Additionally, there will be a large pole with a flag hanging right next to the landing pad to make it easier to spot.
Manor Cape Landing Platforms
There are two locations in Manor Cape. They’re mostly nearby, and you’ll likely have to travel a bit more than usual because there aren’t that many fast-travel locations nearby.
West Manor Cape #1If you head south from the West Manor Cape and move alongside the shore, you’ll come across two hills separated from the land and the sea. On top of one of them, you’ll find the landing pad. There aren’t that many other landmarks nearby, except a Hippogriff Den and a Merlin Trial. In terms of what to expect when you reach the location, you’ll be able to see a bunch of balloons floating, with one of the balloons being right next to the landing platform. No trees or other structures are obstructing the view, so you won’t have a hard time finding this landing platform location in Hogwarts Legacy.
West Manor Cape #2There is another location right near the West Manor Cape fast travel point. Instead of going south, this time, you need to head north to find the landing pad. There will be a Merlin Trial and a Treasure Vault nearby. You need to focus on the Treasure Vault as the location is near the vault. When you reach the location on the map, you need to head to the lower side of the cliffside to find the platform. The easiest way to get to the platform is to look for the floating balloons and follow them as they lead down to the cliffside, next to the entrance of the treasure vault.
Cragcroftshire Landing Platforms
There’s only one landing pad location in Cragcroftshire. Cragcroftshire is quite small in general, and many of the areas are hilly.
CragcroftOn the map, you need to head directly south of the Cragcroft floo flame location. There aren’t many nearby locations as the landing pad is near the water. To the west, you’ll come across a bunch of balloons and even a fossil. When you arrive at the location on the map, simply look for the highest rocky tower-like hill near the water, and the landing pad will be on top.
Clagmar Coast Landing Platforms
The final location on the map remains on the Clagmar Coast. As the name suggests, it’s mostly a coastal area, with the only interesting thing being a castle.
Clagmar CastleFrom the Clagmar Castle Floo Flame location, head southeast towards the coastal area. There will be a treasure vault and a Graphorn Den nearby as well. You need to head towards the hills, which are on the edge of the coast. When you arrive at the location shown on the map, simply fly around the hills alongside the coast and the beach and maintain a high enough level because the landing pad is on top of one of the hills. If you have a look at the image above, the landing pad is lit up with four flames and is on the edge of the tall hill.
RewardsIf you go to every single landing platform location in Hogwarts Legacy, you’ll unlock the Quidditch Gear. There will be four total tiers to the challenge, and each tier will have a reward. Completing all four tiers will grant you the full set. Here are the tiers and what reward you get for each of them.
|Tier 1 – Find 2 Landing Platforms
|Quidditch Captain’s Uniform
|Tier 2 – Find 4 Landing Platforms
|Quidditch Captain’s Helmet
|Tier 3 – Find 6 Landing Platforms
|Quidditch Captain’s Gloves
|Tier 4 – Find 8 Landing Platforms
|Quidditch Captain’s Cape
These rewards are great, but there are definitely many more amazing things that are worth acquiring in the game, such as the unforgivable curses such as Avada Kedavra and Crucio. You can also try collecting wand handles or house tokens. There are also unicorns in the game, which you can try taming, but you’ll need spells such as Arresto Momentum for it! Our extensive guides will ensure that you’re ready for any challenges in the game.
But with that, you know all of the landing platform locations in Hogwarts Legacy. They’re all unmarked on the map and can be quite missable due to how hidden they are in the terrain. But with proper directions and map locations, you won’t have any trouble acquiring all locations.
