FF16: All Hunt Locations & Rewards

FF16hunt locations consist of various areas where players can encounter Notorious Marks. These hunts are classified into 4 Ranksand can be initiated from the Hunt board at Cid‘s hideaway. They involve you locating the whereabouts of special elite-level minibosses throughout Valisthea and engaging them in combat for high-tier rewards and XP.

S Rank Hunts

• S Rank hunt locations are the most powerful of the Notorious Marks.
• Killing these enemies requires a strong build and exceptional skill.

Atlas – The Breaker Of Worlds

• Players can find Atlas, The Breaker of Worlds, on the eastern side of Cressida, located in The Imperial Province of Rosaria.

• Atlas is a level 45 enemy, so ensure your level is close to this number.
• Players can unlock this hunt location after initiating the Out of the Shadow main quest.

Gorgimera – The Tricephalic Terror

• Gorgimera, The Tricephalic Terror is located towards the bottom left area of The Velkroy Desert, located in The Dhalmekian Republic.

• Just like Atlas, Gorgimera is also a level 45 enemy.
• Gorgimera’s hunt location is unlocked after completing the Across the Narrow main quest.

Pandemonium

• Players can find Pandemonium toward the left-most side of The Shadow Coast, located in The Kingdom of Waloed.

• As Pandemonium is a level 45 enemy, he is very strong. Players must exercise caution while fighting him.
• Pandemonium’s hunt location is unlocked after players complete the main quest called Footfalls of Ash.

Behemoth King

• The Behemoth King can be found toward the northern part of Vidargraes, located in The Kingdom of Waloed.

• Behemoth King is slightly stronger than the Notorious Marks mentioned above, as it is a level 47 enemy.
• Players can find the Behemoth King after completing the Back to their Origin main quest.

Svarog – Ruin Reawakened

• Players can find Svarog – Ruin Reawakened at the bottom of Mornebrume, located at The Holy Empire of Sanbreque.

• This Notorious Mark is the strongest of the S Rank hunts, as it is a level 50 enemy.
• After completing the Things Fall Apart main quest, the Svarog – Ruin Reawakened hunt becomes available.

A Rank Hunts

• A Rank Notorious Marks are easy to defeat and pose no real challenge.
• This rank has the highest amount of FF16 hunt locations.

Flan Prince – Muddy Murder

• Flan Prince – Muddy Murder can be found on the northern side of Hawk’s Cry Cliff, located in The Imperial Province of Rosaria.

• The Flan Prince is a level 38 enemy. As such, it is nothing to worry about.
• Players will unlock this Notorious Mark after initiating the Bolts from the Blue main quest.

The Nine Of Knives

• The Nine of Knives can be found at the center of The Jaw, located in The Dhalmekian Republic.

• This Notorious Mark is also a level 38 enemy.
• The Nine of Knives hunt will be unlocked after players complete the Out of the Shadow main quest.

The Mageth Brothers

• Players can find The Mageth Brothers toward the western side of Quietsands, located in The Imperial Province of Rosaria.

• The Mageth Brothers are a level 38 enemy.
• Players can access The Mageth Brothers after initiating the Things Fall Apart main quest.

Dread Comet

• The Dread Comet can be found in the area between The Fields of Corava and The Sickle, in The Dhalmekian Republic.

• This Notorious Mark is also a level 38 enemy.
• Players will unlock the Dread Comet hunt location after finishing the A Song of Hope main quest.

Gobermouch

• Players can find Gobermouchin Eistla, located in The Kingdom of Waloed.

• Gobermouch is a level 38 enemy, which is easily dealt with.
• This Notorious Mark will be available once players complete the Brotherhood main quest,

Agni

• Agni is found in the area located between Halfcombe and The Edge of Infinity in The Kingdom of Waloed.

• This Notorious Mark is level 40, making it decently powerful.

Bygul

• Players can find Bygulin in the middle of Kritten Hollow, located in The Kingdom of Waloed.

• Just like Agni, Bygul is also a level 40 enemy.

Terminus – The Blood Moon

• The Knight of the Splendent Heart can be found at the top of the Royal Meadows, located in The Holy Empire of Sanbreque.

• The Knight of the Splendent Heart is unlocked after players complete the main quest, Back to Their Origin.

Thanatos – Usher To The Underworld

• Players can find Thanatos – Usher to the Underworld, at Titan’s Wake, located in The Dhalmekian Republic.

• Thanatos is also a level 42 enemy.
• Players will be able to fight against Thanos – Usher to the Underworld after initiating the Brotherhood main quest.

Gizamaluk

• Gizamalukcan be found on the western side of Vidargraes, located in The Kingdom of Waloed.
• The Gizamaluk Notorious Mark is a level 41 enemy.

• B Rank hunts are even easier than the aforementioned A Rank hunts.
• The B Rank enemies are less in quantity compared to the A Rank.
• In addition, killing these enemies is very easy.

Belphegor

• Players can find Belphegorat at the end of The Broken Hilt, located in The Imperial Province of Rosaria.

• Belphegor is a level 30 enemy, making it extremely easy.
• Players can face off against Belphegor after completing “The Gathering Storm” main quest.

Dozmare

• Dozmare can be found in Norvent Valley, near the Caer Norvent River Gate, located in The Holy Empire of Sanbreque.

• Players can unlock Dozmare’s ff16 hunt location after completing the Blacksmith’s Blues main quest.

• Also, this Notorious Mark is a level 34 enemy, making it one of the moderately difficult hunt locations in ff16.
• After initiating the Riddle of the Sands main quest, players will unlock the Fastitiocalon – A Hill to Die On hunt location.
