Beginning with the most anticipated fighting game, STREET FIGHTER VI, the Director, Takayuki Nakayama, and the film’s Producer, Shuhei Matsumoto, appeared in an interview with IGN Japan. The interview iterated vital points regarding the game. Nakayama applauded the development process citing, “All the development members were motivated and earnestly worked on it…”

However, another prominent industry insider, Jez Corden, states otherwise in a contradictory tweet

Roller Champions, the free-to-play 3v3 multiplayer sports game, appears to have suffered a considerable decline in Twitch viewership. Roller Champions seemingly lost virtually 99% of its viewers on Twitch, according to information known on TwitchTracker. The steep decline is worrisome, considering the title was only released around a month ago.

Moving on to leaks, recently leaked Sonic Frontiers gameplay footage revealed interesting details, like the in-game UI and HUD. Moreover, the leak also featured images of a speedometer that would track the speed of Sonic rolling through the green pastures. The grainy photos also reveal the Sonic Frontiers logo being featured in-game.

Moreover, the new gameplay footage was also apparently leaked online, which featured Sonic traversing the Starfall Islands. The leaked gameplay looks fantastic, and as for the graphics and textures, they seem stellar. The leak appeared after players had already witnessed the Sonic Frontiers: World Premiere Gameplay.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II stole the third spot for Steam’s weekly sales charts. The game has been pre-ordered plenty due to the anticipation of the Call of Duty franchise rebooting the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series. The future for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is looking bright, after the last few dull installments. 

Horizon Forbidden West has massively improved upon its performance mode. The 1.16 Patch wholly altered how the graphics are rendered in the performance mode. This improvement has caused graphics to refine further unexpectedly. Most of the game’s community has moved on to performance mode due to the recent patch.

Scorn’s potential release date and artwork were sighted on the game’s SteamDB page. The release date might be a placeholder and may be changed in the future, but Scorn is slated for release this year around. The artwork reveals gut-wrenching yet mesmerizing images that leave one anticipating the captivating horror title.

Christopher Gans, the first movie director of Silent Hill, affirmed that Konami is brewing several Silent Hill games (as translated by Gamingsym—the page has now been deleted). The interview provides indirect evidence of Konami’s future goals regarding the Silent Hill series. He cited, The franchise (Silent Hill, editor’s note) is going to be relaunched in terms of video games, and therefore the film will become part of a global policy.”

The (now deleted) recently leaked Hogwarts Legacy footage revealed combat and many more features, like character customization, to name a few. We see the character traversing through the dark ruins using magic to light up the place in the short footage. Moreover, another small leak reveals robe and walking physics from the game.

The publisher of many prominent games, Devolver Digital, has recently lost 45% stock value due to poor results. The pioneer of indie gaming is responsible for many popular games like Fall Guys, Shadow Warrior, and Gato Roboto. The sales of newer titles have also been lower than older titles, and investors are unhappy.

Digimon Survive’s release date has finally been announced in the latest release date trailer. Digimon Survive’s release date is on July 29, 2022. The story features an entirely new group of teens, directed by Takuma Momozuka, who lose their bearings on a school camping trip and are transported into a new world.

Recently, images of Fire Emblem’s next installment were also leaked online. The leak provides a lot of information regarding the upcoming title and is supported by screenshots. The game will incorporate a bundle of new characters and a new cast. This installment in the works is not a reboot or a remaster but a whole new title.

One of the biggest leaks includes Avalanche Studio; that’s developing a new rogue-like title called “Ravenbound.” Ravenbound places the player in the medieval-styled fictional world of Avalt as a “Vessel of the Raven,” where the player must liberate the world from foes who have overrun the lands.

Arriving toward hardware news, an update to the PlayStation DualSense Wireless Controller has been sighted on the SteamDB page. The update suggests that something new could be coming to the already incorporated features. Perhaps, the update will include the adaptive trigger controllers, which is a big miss on PC thus far.

Xbox has announced its plans for 20 years, which include a wide array of features. For instance, as a part of a collaboration with Samsung, Xbox App will allow cloud-enabled games to be enjoyed on Samsung TVs without a need for a console. Moreover, the Xbox Game Pass is presumably getting an upgrade.

Xbox Wire’s Editor-in-Chief noted in the announcement, “We’re excited to share that later this year, it’s our intent to roll out the ability for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members to play, from the Cloud, select games they already own or have purchased outside the Xbox Game Pass library.”

Last but not least, Apple’s ban on cloud gaming has been ruled out as “anti-competitive” by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) in the United Kingdom. Inquiry of App Store is also under investigation by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) in concerns to the terms and conditions decreed to developers.
