Mage Build Stats

If you’re going for the Best Elden Ring Mage build then your starting class should be Astrologer and your stats should look like the ones mentioned in the image above.
Now, the stats you need to focus on are Intelligence and Mind because most of the weapons you will be using will scale with Intelligence and some spells will require a hefty amount of Intelligence. Of course, you will need FP to use those spells, and FP is increased by leveling up Mind.
Just because your main focus is Intelligence and Mind doesn’t mean that you should start ignoring all the other stats. When it comes to leveling up stats, your second priority should be Vigor. There’s no point in only leveling up Mind and Intelligence if you start dying with one hit from late-game bosses.
Aside from Vigor, you also need to occasionally level up Endurance for the extra stamina and equip load. And you will also need to level up Strength and Dexterity strategically.
Another benefit of leveling up intelligence is that you will be able to use the Law of Regression and solve Goldmask’s riddle if you are going for the Perfect Order ending and not waste two Larvae Tears in the process.
Endgame Stats
Stats | Level 60 | Level 120 |
Vigor | 23 | 32 |
Mind | 25 | 38 |
Endurance | 15 | 18 |
Strength | 12 | 12 |
Dexterity | 13 | 13 |
Intelligence | 35 | 70 |
Faith | 7 | 7 |
Arcane | 9 | 9 |
To further enhance your Mage build, you will need to equip the proper talismans which are discussed later in this guide.
