15 BEST Elden Ring Remembrance Weapons

Looking for the Elden Ring best Remembrance weapons? You’re definitely in the right trying to search for what happens to be the most legendary armaments in the game. After all, these are the tools of destruction that you get from killing off powerful bosses in Elden RIng, ones that almost always keep you on the edge of your seats. Read on as we explore the most formidable Remembrance weapons and how you can obtain them in the treacherous confines of the Lands Between.

What are Remembrance Weapons in Elden Ring?

Elden Ring features a wealth of different types of armaments in the game. Everything from Staffs, Colossal Swords, and Flails to other melee weapons and ranged weapons are implemented for players to experiment with in the Lands Between and slowly climb their way up to becoming Elden Lord.

However, there exists another category of weapons in the game that are far more powerful and feature-rich as compared to something you’d find at the back of a troll-towed carriage. These are Remembrance weapons that are obtained by defeating either main bosses in the game or others of legendary or demi-god status. As we’ve mentioned in the sections above, some of these include Malenia, Blade of Miquella; Rykard, God of Blasphemy; Starscourge Radahn, and Mohg, Lord of Blood.

We refer to Remembrance weapons as another category of armaments solely due to their superior statistics and over-the-top prestige. Not only do they boast a higher level of attributes than most other weapons, but all of them come with their own distinct weapon art that goes the extra mile in taking down the opposition. The previous entries in the Soulsborne franchise, particularly the Dark Souls series, featured something similar.

You used to earn Boss Souls after killing off major bosses in the game. You would then use then Boss Souls to get high-level weapons, similar to how Remembrance weapons are in Elden Ring. Quite naturally, you can easily tell the difference between these and other armaments obtainable through normal means in the Lands Between. There’s just something spectacular about wielding a boss weapon, isn’t there?

However, it bears noticing that you don’t get Remembrance-grade armaments right after you kill these high-class enemies. You actually get specific Remembrances—key items that can be traded with Finger Reader Enia who’s located at the Roundtable Hold. If you’ve gone past the initial stages of the game, then we presume you’re already well-versed with both Enia and the Roundtable Hold in Elden Ring.

Anyhow, Remembrances present you with a choice. You can either get a powerful weapon out of them, which is usually what the boss itself wields who you kill to get the Remembrance, or a substantial amount of Runes, which is the in-game currency used to purchase different items and accouterments. For instance, Remembrance of the Fire Giant offers you two different rewards: the Giant’s Red Braid or the “Burn, O Flame!” incantation spell.

You can only choose one out of these two by going to Enia at the Roundtable Hold and informing her of your decision. Finger Reader Enia possesses the Power of Remembrance, meaning that she can harness these dignified memories and unlock their true potential for the benefit of the Tarnished. Such is the concept behind Remembrance weapons, including the Elden Ring best Remembrance weapons that we’ve outlined in this guide.

Best Remembrance Weapons in Elden Ring

The following is our round-up of the best Remembrance weapons in Elden Ring. Be sure to read their descriptions meticulously to determine whether they’ll suit your particular build or not.

  • Speaking of which, if you’re a new player who’s just getting started with the Soulsborne title, don’t miss out on the best builds you can create in Elden Ring.

Starscourge Greatsword

Starting off this list with a huge bang is the ever-terrific Starscourge Greatsword. This colossal set of two destructive blades comes straight from the memories of defeating Starscourge Radahn—a legendary demi-god with insane brute force and powerful magic attacks. He’s what the Radahn festival is all about and progressing in the game to a certain point will make you understand the story behind the once-glorious General.

The Starscourge Greatsword is one of the most powerful weapons in the game. According to our in-depth Elden Ring weapon tier list, this is no less than an S-tier armament that we’re talking about. What truly sets this Greatsword apart is the fact that it lets players dual-wield it by default, and you don’t have to two-hand weapons separately. When you obtain the armament and equip it for the first time, you’ll discover that your character will have the Starscourge Greatsword wielded in each hand.

This is nothing but a pleasant surprise and doubles the trouble for anyone who stands before you. It comes with both robust Physical and Magic Attack Power and measures up to be life-threatening when upgraded to the maximum level using Somber Smithing Stones. As for the scaling of the Starscourge Greatsword, the armament scales quite well with the Strength and Dexterity attributes.

However, you will need some of your attributes at a decent amount of level in order to actually wield this weapon. 38 Str, 12 Dex, and 15 Int are the bare minimum that you will need to tend to. Other than that, what perhaps makes the Starscourge Greatsword truly unmatched is its weapon art or main skill called Starcaller Cry. Your foes definitely don’t want to be on the business end of this armament when you initiate the Starcaller Cry.

In this skill, your character summons ethereal magic to pull in enemies in close proximity and deliver a substantial downward slam. It’s a two-part weapon art that requires FP or Focus Points for a total of two times if you want to perform the Starcaller Cry in full. The first part is when you stomp down and make the enemies gravitate toward you while the final portion is the aforementioned downward slam.

  • You need to beat Starscourge Radahn to get the Starscourge Greatsword. This is one of the most difficult bosses to exist in Elden Ring, but there is a way to dispose of him easily. Read our Elden Ring Radahn Cheese method guide and learn.

Mohgwyn’s Sacred Spear

Mohgwyn's Sacred Spear
Mohgwyn’s Sacred Spear

More From eXputer: Elden Ring Rileigh The Idle Location

The next spot on this list belongs to Mohgwyn’s Sacred Spear—a top-of-the-line Great Spear that’s obtained by killing off Mohg, Lord of Blood. It’s more than fair—deserving, to put it right—that the armament in question easily belongs in the set of the Elden Ring best Remembrance weapons. This fire-based spear’s strongest selling point is its effective blood loss buildup Passive Effect.

The latter whittles down the health bar of your enemies piece by piece until there’s nothing left to claw at anymore. In addition, the moveset of Mohgwyn’s Sacred Spear has a dynamic range and is able to pick out foes at a comfortable distance. If you’re going after an Arcane build, sporting this weapon along your adventures in the Lands Between seems like a great choice.

The armament scales well with Strength and Arcane but does require a fair bit of attribute levels for the player to wield it. You will need 24 Strength, 27 Arcane, and 14 Dex to employ the services of Mohgwyn’s Sacred Spear. In terms of the weapon’s effectiveness in Elden Ring’s PvP situations, we’ve got ourselves something genuinely reliable here. Its dodge-roll attack reaches enemies up to a reasonable extent while basic light and heavy attacks also do away with your foes without breaking a sweat.

However, the major highlight of Mohgwyn’s Scared Spear does not lie in its light or strong pierces nor in its Passive Effect. What makes this armament stand out is its unique weapon art called Bloodboon Ritual. The latter allows your character to thrust the flame upward and create an “explosion of blood” each time the thrust occurs. The Area of Effect (AoE) here is massive and usually means death for anyone in the pertinent circle.

Truth be told, this is one of the most effective weapon arts in the entirety of Elden Ring, and you’ll acknowledge its worth yourself when using the Bloodboon Ritual against someone else in PvP. No matter if it is a heap of enemies or a tiring boss fight, you’re going to love what this weapon art will do for you, but only when you time it right.

As for obtaining the weapon, you’ll have to defeat Mohg, Lord of Blood, as iterated earlier. Now, defeating this special optional boss is as difficult as finding it. You need to venture to a particular location called Mohgwyn Palace in the Lands Between, but the bad news is that this area is well-hidden. However, with a good set of guidelines such as the ones written in this article, you’ll get to Mohgwyn in no time.

Blasphemous Blade

Elden Ring best Remembrance weapons
Blasphemous Blade

Recommended Read: How to get Elden Ring Fingerslayer Blade

There are certain weapons in Elden Ring that are so well-balanced in terms of just about everything, you never want to stop using them. The Blasphemous Blade respectfully fits this category of armaments, boasting a fear-inducing design with terrific statistics all around. The middle section of the blade’s design is suffused with the souls the original wielder of the Greatsword has taken for himself.

That is why you’ll observe minuscule hands sticking out from the sword, appearing to be exceptionally unsettling. You can get yourself this hefty armament at a later stage in the game, particularly from a boss called Rykard, the Lord of Blasphemy. He resides in Mt. Gelmir near the Audience Pathway Site of Lost Grace, waiting for a formidable challenger.

You’ll encounter him as the God-Devouring Serpent at first in the boss fight. Upon depleting the entirety of his health bar successfully, you will compel the inner demon to manifest, and thereby fight Rykard, the Lord of Blasphemy himself in the second phase of the fight.

The skill move of the Blasphemous Blade makes it a worthy Greatsword to have. The name of the weapon art is Taker’s Flame and what it does is drive the armament into the ground using a vertical smash and erupt a series of volcanic attacks. It’s pretty effective for wiping the floor with a group of enemies, not to mention the cluster of damage it inflicts on high-level enemies. It’s easily one of the Elden Ring top Remembrance weapons for all it does.

The weapon can be upgraded using Somber Smithing Stones, but cannot be used with any Ashes of War or Incantations. In addition, the Passive Effect of the Blasphemous Blade is pretty special. Defeating enemies will restore your health points. We can definitely see how helpful this can be in a game like Elden Ring, particularly in situations where you’re out of Sacred Flasks and need to hold your ground for dear life.

Hand of Malenia

Elden Ring best Remembrance weapons
Hand of Malenia

Let’s face it. If you’ve managed to advance to the latter stages of Elden Ring, you’ve probably explored the Elphael region. That is where you come toe-to-toe with one of the most difficult boss fights, if not THE most difficult altogether, in the game—Malenia, the Blade of Miquella. If you ever have trouble locating the enemy, don’t forget to check out our in-depth guide on How to Find Malenia Boss.

Malenia a war-torn figure whose battle victories precede her. Ostensibly, this spells misfortune for us lowly Tarnished warriors as she does away with us without breaking a sweat in most cases. The reward for putting up with the boss is the weapon she uses herself to dispatch us players ever so gracefully. You get the Hand of Malenia by trading Remembrance of the Rot Goddess with Enia at the Roundtable Hold area.

A trivia about this armament pertains to its name. It’s not called “Blade” or “Sword” of Malenia because the weapon is actually “built into Malenia’s prosthetic arm.” You can observe that during your bout with her. You must notice how Malenia is an extremely difficult boss to fend off after your run-in with her. However, there is a method, a more easily approachable one that lets you defeat her almost effortlessly. Read our Elden Ring Malenia cheese method guide and learn it.

As for the Hand of Malenia, this is a Katana that lets you employ swift deadly strikes when you wield it in one hand. If you want to switch things up, however, you can two-hand the weapon and deliver instant death to enemies with the versatility of different attack moves. Primarily, this armament is a Dexterity-focused weapon, so players opting to build their character around this attribute simply cannot overlook the Hand of Malenia.

The attributes required to wield this weapon are fairly demanding. You need about 48 Dexterity and 16 Strength to get your hands on it. All things aside, if there’s anything that puts the Hand of Malenia above some of the best katanas in Elden Ring, then it’s definitely the Waterfowl Dance skill move. This is the same iconic combat moveset that the Rot Goddess herself uses on you with unparalleled tracking.

While you won’t have the same of the latter, the rest of the skill move is nearly identical. You elevate in the air and prepare to land a flurry of rapid-paced strikes, leaving your foes nothing but discombobulated. The best part is that you can even free aim and position yourself as per your convenience while the skill move is being performed. That sets you up for terrific range, and if you were to battle your foe in a tight space, that would mean the end of the enemy.

Morgott’s Cursed Sword

Elden Ring best Remembrance weapons
Morgott’s Cursed Sword

An Interesting Read: Elden Ring Erdtree Greatshield

Another deserving entry on this list is the ever-capable Morgot’s Cursed Sword, obtained right after slaying Morgott, the Omen King. This is one of the major bosses in the game that needs to be killed in order to progress to the next regions. You’ll find this loveless warrior in Leyndell, Royal Capital, which is entered not long after the initial stages of the game. It is, after all, a vibrant city filled with dangers of all sorts.

  • You can always streamline things for yourself by collecting all the different map fragments in Elden Ring.

As for the blade we’re talking about, this Curved Greatsword causes blood loss buildup and scales great with the Dexterity, Arcane, and Strength attributes. You will need to have 14 Strength, 35 Dexterity, and 17 Arcane levels to be able to wield this weapon. Moreover, you’ve got an effective skill move called Cursed-Blood Slice that makes your character charge forward and deliver a diagonal slash of explosive blood.

You will need Remembrance of the Omen King to get Morgott’s Cursed Sword from Enia at the Roundtable Hold. It’s either the weapon or 30,000 Runes—whatever tickles your pickle. While the weapon cannot be infused with any Ash of War skills, you can upgrade it to increase its Attack Power with the help of Somber Smithing Stones. These are essential upgrade resources that you can start to farm as soon as you step out of Limgrave.

Design-wise, you’re looking at an exceptionally eerie armament here. Morgott’s sword, or should we say the “warped blade of shifting hue” is accursed with blood that “that Morgott recanted and sealed away.” That is why Morgott’s Cursed Sword is slender and has dynamically changing shades.

Sacred Relic Sword

Continuing this list of the Elden Ring remembrance weapons is no less than a force to be reckoned with. The Sacred Relic Sword possesses enticing statistics with a unique weapon art that’ll keep you hooked for days. The skill that it performs for users on the fly is called Wave of Gold and it’s blatantly punishing for all those that stand in your way. You basically charge up your sword and dish out a vertical swing in this weapon art.

What that does is give out a rumbling with immense range. Due to this feature, the armament is near-perfect for farming Runes and stocking up on other items dropped by specific enemies. With that being said, there is one facet of this weapon that comes across as a downside and that is its availability. The Sacred Relic Sword can only be acquired after trading the Elden Remembrance with Finger Reader Enia at the Roundtable Hold.

Now, the Elden Remembrance comes from the Elden Beast, which is Elden Ring’s final boss. Quite apparently, you’ll get the Sacred Relic Sword after you beat this boss and achieve one ending of the game. However, there are tons of side quests and other adventures to embark on in Elden Ring, so we definitely see a purpose for the armament in question. On the subject of ending, consider reading our Elden Ring Endings guide.

The Sacred Relic Sword scales well with Strength, Dexterity, and Faith. As for the attributes required to wield this weapon, you’ll need about 22 Faith, 24 Dexterity, and 14 Strength. Cosmetically, its design is something to vouch for as well. You’ve got a surreal glow that begins from the base of the weapon and continues until the very tip with progressive radiance in-between. The Sacred Relic Sword is a real killer, in every sense of the phrase.

Dragon King’s Cragblade

Elden Ring best Remembrance weapons
Dragon King’s Cragblade

Furthering this guide of the Elden Ring best Remembrance weapons is the ever-so-graceful Dragon King’s Cragblade, obtained right after you put the Dragonlord Placidusax to rest. The latter is one of the most superior dragons to exist in the Lands Between, so don’t think of the affair as a cakewalk battle to go up against. Fortunately for you, we’ve covered an entire guide on how to cheese Dragonlord Placidusax in Elden Ring.

The guide includes the location of the boss and the best tips we could muster up for slaying him, so do check that out if you’re struggling with Dragonlord Placidusax. As for the weapon at hand, this is actually a Heavy Thrusting Sword that’s best utilized with a lightning-based character build. If you don’t happen to have statistics like the latter warrants, no worry. The Cragblade is still exceptionally reliable, both in PvP and PvE situations.

Moreover, the requirements needed to be checked off before wielding the weapon do not demand much from the character as well. You simply need to have 37 Dex and 18 Str to equip the Dragon King’s Cragblade. In terms of acquiring it, however, that’s another story as you may already acknowledge by now.

The technical efficacy of the armament in question is simply second to none in Elden Ring, making it one of the best Remembrance weapons to get your hands on. It boasts high damage and even has one of the most robust weapon arts to its name called Thundercloud Form. When you initiate this attack, your character jumps in the air and takes the form of thunderous grey and red clouds.

You then follow it up by keeping the attack button pressed and making the character travel some distance before landing on the ground with a catastrophic slam. Performing the skill even lets you avoid multiple types of enemy attacks with its seemingly aerial maneuver, so there’s that twofold benefit to factor in as well.

Overall, the armament is just genuinely fun to use and even boasts an above-average amount of attacking speed to catch players lacking by surprise. Some players are even complaining that the Dragon King’s Cragblade does a bit too damage for them to enjoy the game. They basically one-shot most enemies and turn the game into easy mode.

After you slay the fire-breathing atrocity, take the earned Remembrance of the Dragonlord to Enia, our trusty companion at the Roundtable Hold, and ask her to unlock the power of the acquired prize. Upon making the correct subsequent decision, you’ll painlessly obtain the Dragon King’s Cragblade for yourself, ready to wreak havoc on everything in the Lands Between.

Now that you’re well-versed with the best Remembrance weapons in Elden Ring, let’s take a close, hard look at the concept surrounding this armament type. Moreover, we’ll be including a bonus section in this article that’ll go through the best Remembrances to duplicate in the game.

*******’s Stars

Best Elden Ring Remembrance weapons
*******’s Stars

Next up we have *******’s Stars, a top-of-the-line Flail in Elden Ring that looks absolutely ethereal. This powerful shard of the cosmos from far far away is one of the most fun weapons to pick up after slaying Astel, Naturalborn of the Void. Keep in mind though that you’ll have to make great strides trying to get to this boss fight, which is actually located in quite a concealed place.

Astel is part of the Elden Ring Ranni quest and arrives at the ultimatum section of the whole scenario. However, the star-fallen foe is an optional boss and isn’t needed to beat the game, unless you’re going for the Age of the Stars ending. In addition, the questline that you have to embark on to reach the malformed star of ill-omen is long and arduous, albeit decently thrilling.

The NPC that grants you this hefty side mission is Ranni the Witch, ultimately paving the way to acquiring the Blaidd Armor Set. If you’ve gone through it once, we doubt that you’d want to complete it in full all over again. Therefore, it’s certainly worth duplicating the Remembrance of the Naturalborn that you get after defeating the boss in question and get a taste of both of its major offerings.

Let’s talk about the *******’s Stars a bit more though. This armament easily happens to be one of the coolest-looking weapons in the game. As always, you can get the weapon by trading said Remembrance with Enia and allowing the Finger Reader to unlock the power of the Boss Soul vigorously. Once you finally get your hands on this cosmic Flail, you might spend the first 5 minutes contemplating its mind-boggling design.

It’s understandable how the weapon is derived from the celestial idiosyncrasy of Astelborn, Naturalborn of the Void. After all, the aforemetioned Age of the Stars ending clearly illustrates how Ranni takes our Tarnished warrior into the stretches of the Moon, thereby embarking on a thousand-year voyage on a heavenly body. In the Lands Between, however, you’ll make your enemies feel the wrath of the *******’s Stars without breaking a sweat.

This is just one of the few go-to weapons in the game that you can absolutely rely on no matter what. Its light attacks are quick and swift while heavy attacks are more staggering and powerful. In addition, the weapon art of this Flail is called Nebula, coming across as nothing but convenient in many PvP situations. It basically prompts the player to deliver an aerial sweeping strike and follow up with a dark cloud of stars that explodes briefly after the initial attack.

It’s pretty awesome for crowd control and looks even cooler when you pull it off with success. You’ll find it scaling quite nicely with the Intelligence attribute, so if you’ve begun your journey as a Mage in Elden Ring, you can easily have this side weapon for up-close-and-personal settings during your PvP adventure. Definitely try the armament out and let us know what you think of it down in the comments section.

Malekith’s Black Blade

Malekith's Black Blade
Malekith’s Black Blade

Malekith’s Black Blade promises destined death to anyone who tries opposing you, similar to how Melina puts it by the end of the Lord of the Frenzied Flame ending. This is a mean-looking Colossal Sword with a thing for StrengthFaith, and Dexterity, so if you have a build focused around those traits, you can leap to this armament without a second thought.

Although the Black Blade can be slow, learning how to use it at the right time is part of the fun. The armament employs long, hard strikes that this veteran Colossal Sword users will grow to appreciate. In addition, it features a tip-top weapon art as well that summons mystical blades and dispatches your foes in a moment’s time, provided that you draw them in with due diligence.

The skill is deemed pretty effective for when you want to deal with a band of enemies at once. The radius that the attack move covers when you execute it isn’t too small but isn’t gigantic either. While you cannot switch up the Ash of War skill of the Black Blade, you can upgrade the Colossal Sword to higher levels and make it more decked out than before.

As for acquiring this armament, you’ll need to slay MalekithBlack Blade in all his atrocity. This is one devil of a boss fight that you’ll have to put up with, located specifically in the Crumbling Farum Azula region of the Lands Between. If you’d like to know how to get there, including all its bosses, dragons, and talismans, check out our curated guide on the Elden Ring Crumbling Farum Azula.

The base Physical Attack power of Malekith’s Black Blade stands firm at 127 points and a vast potential to be taken up to higher levels. However, if you were thinking of swapping the Ash of War skill of the armament with other ones, perhaps some of the best Ash of War skills in the game, you’re in for a disappointment. The main weapon skill Destined Death is locked in and cannot be replaced, unfortunately.

Pair this armament with some of the best armor sets in Elden Ring and you’ve got yourself a real killer of a character, ready to gain their place as Elden Lord. People have been creating Black Blade-based builds left and right (not Black Flame) and giving each other hell in the PvP portion of the game. Of course, you can try doing the same if the armament piques your interest. Let us know how that prospect goes down in the comments section.

Giant’s Red Braid

Best Elden Ring Remembrance Weapons
Giant’s Red Braid

The Giant’s Red Braid is a Whip-type armament with a bewildering weapon art called Flame Dance. Similar to how things are in a Quality build in the game, you’re not going to find such a threatening skill move in most other weapons. The Flame Dance takes you on a rollercoaster of swinging strikes, imbued with the flame of vengeance. It covers a wide area and is perfect for situations where you’re absolutely surrounded from all sides.

If you time the weapon art right, no man without picture-perfect foresight can seemingly avoid the menace of the Flame Dance. If you want to take things up a notch even further in this regard, don’t forget to pay heed to the Deathblight Build for PvP invasions especially. Now, what makes the Remembrance of the Fire Giant worthy of use is its ability to dish out ranged attacks while maintaining crowd control in close-combat settings as well.

Some experienced players who have had their fair share of run-ins with finding Malenia and going up against her have a lot to say about the Giant’s Red Braid. It’s been said that this hefty Whip can stagger the Rot Goddess with its aforementioned weapon art called Flame Dance, especially when the last strike registers. This is definitely one good way of taking down what is otherwise one of the toughest bosses unless you’re using a cheese method.

As for the way you acquire this weapon, you need to take down the Fire Giant. This ugly behemoth puts up one dragon of a fight and is quite hard to beat if you’ve just started your journey out in Elden Ring. We do recommend picking up some of the best bleed weapons out in the Lands Between for an effective chance at taking the boss down. If not, some robust talismans will definitely do the job.

Oh, and one last thing. You’ll find the Fire Giant in the Mountaintops of the Giants region, so make sure you know how to get there. This is a fairly difficult section of the Lands Between that definitely puts you through its paces. If we were you, we’d definitely bring some of the best swords in Elden Ring with us for the matter at hand.

Marika’s Hammer

Marika's Hammer
Marika’s Hammer

Marika’s Hammer is no slouch either, constituting one of the best Elden Ring Remembrance weapons to boot. As the name depicts, it’s a Hammer in Elden Ring that’s effective for inflicting Holy damage on enemies, not to mention its efficacy in other facets. This is one of the many end-game weapons that you get to obtain, but we definitely understand how the developers wanted to save the best for the last.

To give you a little background on this weapon, Marika’s Hammer is the very same tool of destruction that Queen Marika used to desolate the almighty Elden Ring, as the in-game lore tells us. Running around the Lands Between while donning an armament of this stature certainly is staggering. The only thing amplifying this scenario is the presence of some truly terrifying Ashen Spirits to make your enemies cower in fear.

The weapon boasts high Physical Attack power and scales well with DexterityFaith, and even Intelligence.  However, what makes Marika’s Hammer the most thrilling to employ is its main skill move called Gold Breaker. When you initiate this weapon art, the character soars in the sky and hurtles downward to deliver a powerful smash, thereby damaging all foes in the vicinity and leaving them dead for good in most cases.

The skill does take a substantial moment to execute, but it’s all worth it when you’re actually able to register the attack. Another main advantage that although comes across as more of a visual aesthetic is how the character leaps forward when going through with the Gold Breaker weapon art. You can catch enemies in PvP or PvE settings without breaking a sweat, given that you know how and when to use the armament art.

The base Physical Attack damage of Marika’s Hammer is 101, which does put the weapon a bit behind the list of other Hammers in Elden Ring. However, be the guest of the game and employ the functionality of Somber Smithing Stones to upgrade Marika’s Hammer. This is bound to take the armament leaps and bounds above its base stature.

The attributes required to wield Marika’s Hammer aren’t too over the top, so you will be pretty much sorted. About 20 Str, 12 Dex, and 19 Fai are required to wreak chaos upon the Lands Between this Hammer. Considering that you fight Radagon of the Golden Order at the very end of the title, these required statistics are nothing out of the ordinary. Therefore, do try out what is definitely one of the best Remembrance weapons in Elden Ring.

Winged Greathorn

Winged Greathorn
Winged Greathorn

Furthering this list of the most tip-top Remembrance weapons in the game is the ever-fantastic Winged Greathorn. You acquire this armament after having your way with the Regal Ancestor Spirit, a colossal magical deer with tunnel vision for eliminating you. You’ll find this boss in Nokron, Eternal City. If you haven’t been here before, we highly recommend checking out our curated guide on How to Get Elden Ring Fingerslayer Blade.

This essential treasure of Ranni the Witch has us exploring a fairly concealed area of the Lands Between. Nokron, Eternal City is a well-hidden section that can only be accessed from underground. In addition, the boss fight that needs to be finished in order to get to Nokron is Starscourge Radahn, so make sure you have completed that portion of the story to get started with the Winged Greathorn.

When you do finally happen to acquire this magisterial Greataxe, make no mistake in just going to town with it. No matter what foe is it that stands in our way, whip out the Winged Greathorn and let it get to work for you. From the looks of the armament, this weapon is a real serial killer. It looks absolutely menacing and strikes fear into the heart of your enemies, especially when you’re up against multiplayer situations.

As for the base Physical Attack damage of the Winged Greathorn, we have appreciable figures to talk about. It deals a total of 130 Physical damage that can always be taken up to higher levels given you upgrade your character and the weapon as well with Somber Smithing Stones. On the other hand, though, you cannot use any other Ash of War skill with this Greataxe other than the one it naturally arrives at your forefront with.

The main weapon art of the Winged Greathorn is called Soul Stifler. Not only does this affair sound so cool, but what it does for you and your foes is similarly commendable. Unlike most Ash of War skills in the game, this Greataxe features a defensive weapon art whose main purpose is to decrease the defense of your enemy and essentially put a “debuff” on them.

For once, you’re not jumping in the air and hurling the axe down with full force. Instead, you’re performing a cast and dispelling ethereal forces in the air, thereby decreasing the capacity of your foes with which they absorb your onslaught of attacks. Just make sure to bolt away from incoming threats using something like the Flash Step and you’ll be fine. Definitely worthy of being called one of the best Elden Ring Remembrance weapons.

Axe of Godrick

Best Elden Ring Remembrance weapons
Axe of Godrick

The very Greataxe that Godrick uses to shut us down, the Axe of Godrick is a formidable Remembrance weapon to pick up. This golden-hued armament is one of the best options for those looking to develop a melee build. You will need Somber Smithing Stones to take the Axe of Godrick to higher levels, should you choose to main this armament for your days to come in Elden Ring.

As for the major weapon art of the Axe of Godrick, you’ll be using “I Command Thee, Kneel” quite often with the Greataxe. You got that right. The phrase under those quotation marks is actually the name of the armament’s skill move. Although it does have a relatively slower initial cast, “I Command Thee, Kneel” is exceptionally powerful. Your foes definitely don’t want to be on the business end of things when you use this skill move.

During it, you strike the Greataxe hard into the ground a total of three times, emitting shockwaves in a likewise manner and pulling in great damage for some much-needed crowd control. Now, what makes the Remembrance of the Grafted worthy of being traded and acquiring the Axe of Godrick is the speed of the weapon despite its large-sized build.

The armament is quite rapid and is definitely above some of the other bulkier weapons on this list, giving it a rather unfair advantage. Despite everything though, the Axe of Godrick doesn’t quite mark its name on the list of the most legendary armaments in the game. That’s because it isn’t an awful lot of powerful for Player vs Player (PvP) and Player vs Environment (PvE) situations, but is it fun to use? Definitely.

Axe of Godrick boasts a base Physical Attack damage of 142 points, but that can always be taken up to higher strides given that you’re upgrading the armament with Somber Smithing Stones, similar to how most high-class weapons get their fix of level-ups. The armament scales quite well with Strength and Dexterity, so players having their build around these characters can surely appreciate what the Greataxe has to offer to them.

Axe of Godfrey

Elden Ring Best Remembrance weapons
Axe of Godfrey

The Axe of Godfrey is a classy weapon, boasting a strong, burly moveset with a terrific Ash of War skill. The base Physical Attack damage of this armament is slated for 165, but you can always take this figure substantially up by investing some Somber Smithing Stones. In addition, the Axe of Godfrey scales nicely with Dexterity and Strength but does require quite a bit of the latter for the player to be actually able to wield it.

That is to say, you’ll need 42 Str to equip this Colossal Weapon and 14 Dexterity. This makes us put Axe of Godfrey’s name among the best Strength weapons in the game as well with not a single regret in mind. You’re definitely looking at something that can you rely on for days on end, especially in Player vs Environment (PvE) settings.

As for the main weapon art of the Axe of Godfrey, we have something called the Regal Roar to turn our attention to. This is an exceptionally robust power move, capable of taking out a host of enemies in the vicinity in typical Hoarah Loux fashion, which is what Godfrey ultimately transforms himself to after getting the wind knocked out of him.

The Regal Roar smashes the potent Axe of Godfrey into the ground, delivering a ground-breaking (pun intended) shockwave that topples your foes without breaking a sweat. This dragon of a skill move is otherwise slow but boasts high potential in keeping down the pressure and letting some steam off in intense bouts. That is if you’re pairing the weapon with the Bloodhound’s Step Ash of War and becoming a hard-to-catch beast.

The base Physical Attack damage of the armament is slated for 165 points, which is fairly mid-tier. However, that level can always be taken up, given that you’re willing to put in the time, the effort, and, of course, some in-game resources. Not only does the Axe of Godfrey look cool and boasts a capable design, but is equally worthy in a versatility of situations as well.

It’s certainly worthy of one of the Elden Ring best Remembrance weapons title for days on end. With that being said, however, you will need to find Godfrey first in order to get his famed axe off him. This can be done by being diligent enough and heading to the right places while you’re in Leyndell, Ashen Capital. Of course, Godfrey, First Elden Lord is an optional boss and isn’t needed to be necessarily killed in order to progress the main story.

To get the Remembrance of the Hoarah Loux though, you’re definitely going to need to have a meeting with this tip-top boss. Just make sure you’re not going in unprepared and at least don some of the best talismans in the game, say, such as the Radagon Icon. Try out this swinging axe and let us know what you think of it down in the comments section.

Carian Regal Scepter

Carian Regal Scepter
Carian Regal Scepter

The Carian Regal Scepter is nothing short of an excellent piece of character equipment. It’s basically a Glintstone Staff that Rennala—the Queen of the Full Moon—herself used to wield until you laid her to rest. This armament scales nicely with the StrengthDexterity, and Intelligence attributes, thereby hitting the perfect trifecta with the most focus on the latter.

That is to say, players who focus on leveling up Intelligence are definitely going to want to try out the Regal Scepter for days on end. However, this is a Glintstone Staff that demands a whopping 60 points of the Int attribute, so do keep that in mind before you dive right in. Moreover, you need to have 8 Str and 10 Dex to fully wield the Carian Regal Scepter.

We can easily conclude from this that the armament in question is popular among players that have based their character around the Intelligence attribute. Of course, people into sorcery and magic realize the imperativeness of the stat in question, so the Carian Regal Scepter should be an easy pick for them. The matter aligns nicely with the Law of Regression Incantation which is another famous pick among Int-centric player builds.

As for the method of acquiring this weapon, you will have to tend to one of the major boss fights in Elden Ring. We iterated above how Rennala needs to be defeated in order to acquire her Remembrance and trade it with Enia at the Roundtable Hold. However, to get to the Queen of the Full Moon, you need to explore a fair bit of the Lands Between.

Even when you do get to locate the boss in all her full moon glory, you will need to cut her down to be able to receive her Remembrance. An easy way to do this is by looking at our curated guide on How to Beat Rennala. Take it from us, you’re not going to come across a better, more effortless way of killing off this boss anytime soon. After all, this is a FromSoftware game, so anything goes.

The Carian Regal Scepter’s main weapon skill is called Spinning Weapon, which is somewhat unusual for a Glintstone Staff. However, make no mistake in questioning the efficiency of this armament’s skill. Although the Spinning Weapon is something that can be slapped onto swords, axes, and even polearms in Elden Ring, the way it’s carried out with the Carian Regal Scepter is quite different.

The gist of it is that the skill boasts a different aura around it, not to mention the emission of blue-colored graphical elements when the Glintstone Staff itself leaps forward. All in all, the Carian Regal Scepter is a pretty fun weapon to use on a day-to-day basis, especially if you’re a mage. There’s just no doubt that people refer to it as one of the best Elden Ring Remembrance weapons for all the bells and whistles it packs.

Best Remembrance Weapons to Duplicate In Elden Ring

It turns out that Remembrances in Elden Ring can be duplicated to yield double the benefits. This game feature is entirely distinct and cannot be seen in previous Soulsborne titles. To duplicate a Remembrance, you will need to head out in the Lands Between and seek out Walking Mausoleums. These are gigantic turtle-like creatures that comprise a building and allow players to create a copy of Remembrances effortlessly.

However, not every Remembrance is worth duplicating since there are only so many times you can partake in this act. 7 Walking Mausoleums are scattered all across the game world, offering 7 Remembrance duplications—no more, no less. That is why you need to be careful in duplicating only the best Remembrances around. To find out which ones are those, check out our in-depth guide on the “Best Remembrance to duplicate Elden Ring.”
